Destiny: The Taken King

The Order practically looks like CG in some cutscenes. If you're going to stick with 30 that's fine, but let it show on the screen

Comparison is not fair imo...Order is a linear scripted shooter and Destiny a non-linear massive open world game.. If you want to compare, then compare Destiny with MGS V. :) MGS V is the only open world game that runs at 1080p60fps right now..

. The Xbone beta chugged at below 20fps at some places, and neither versions had any visible AA. Hence I'll stand by my original post.

Have you played Xbox one version?...Destiny was using FXAA on both Xbox and PS4

DF on Destiny Xbox one beta -

And while a performance analysis of Xbox One running at full 1080p is out of reach for now, we can at least see how adeptly it holds 30fps while running at the beta-standard 900p. Starting at the opening cut-scene and ending on the Last Array mission, there's rarely a drop to report from one end to the other. This holds true for multiplayer tests on both PS4 and Xbox One as well, with a 6v6 game on the Shores of Time stage never missing a beat.

Have you? I'm not talking about DF sh*t who said D3 is absolutely locked at 60fps PS4. After spending more than 100 hours I can definitely say that there are multiple occasions where the fps literally crawls to 10-15fps. DF is not be all-end all of everything, they bullshit a lot. Destiny even on PS4 was not locked 30fps all the time, but people who played Xbone said it dropped a lot, especially at places where there wasn't anything going on. Someone made a gif on GAF where it dropped to prolly 10-15fps at exact same spot repeatedly.

Btw FXAA is horseshit, I'd rather run it with no AA if given a choice.

I agree with the AA part but the game ran pretty smooth for me.

I didn't play a whole lot (a decent amount) but from what I could tell, the frame rate was holding pretty well.

Maybe someone else who played on the X1 can comment about this.

PS - The lag, on the other hand, was horrendous. But then it was a beta.

If this is true then Amazon should take pre orders of all games & our very own desaibaba should keep giving out codes like this .

I'm sure this'll make the next gen a happy experience for most of us who can't order digital games due to FUP .
