TheDribbler Posted December 5, 2012 Report Share Posted December 5, 2012 [HIP]: Hunt IVG Posts Contest Format: - A task will be given to hunt a particular post in IVG forums which might contain either a particular word/image/emoticons/any other criteria etc. - A participating member has to hunt that post in IVG threads containing the target mentioned and post the link to that post as his entry. - Target to hunt is mentioned at the end. - The member who finds the target First meeting the criteria mentioned and posts his entry ONLY.. between 11pm-12am today wins. Rules of the Format: - A member can't linkup his discovered target post that is created/posted on current date of the contest. - Posts containing the target only created before the contest date will be considered. - A member can't linkup target posts made by Mods/Admins. - A target post discovered by member has not to be edited recently ie last 2 days before the scheduled contest date. - Any member posting any entry/hint/s before scheduled time will be disqualified. Gifts: - PC games: Far Cry 3 (The Lost Expeditions Edition) + Far Cry 2 - Runner up prize: Rage on Steam (Credit: Piper) Scheduled Date and Time: - December 5, 2012 - 11:00 pm - 12:00 am. Who can Participate: Members who comply with ANY of the following criteria are eligible to participate: Registered before July 01, 2012 Minimum 300 Posts to his credit (Active Post records will also be accounted) Minimum 30 Reps Minimum 15 Positive TP feedback (Should not have even a single Negative or neutral feedback) Eligible Post to qualify: - Discover the target post mentioned and linkup that post in this thread as entry to participate. - In additon to the link, also declaration of the total no of different colors found is mandatory eg : Colors: 5 - Valid entry will only be those which are posted between 11:00pm - 12: 00 am on the scheduled date. - Entry posted cannot be edited.. Will be Disqualified. READ: For those who don't know how to copy the particular post containing the target as entry in thread, this info is for them: Every post in any thread has a (#00) etc on the far right corner Right click on it and hit "Copy Link Location" Then paste that link as your entry in the thread. In additon to the link, also declaration of the total no of different colors found is mandatory eg : Colors: 5 Any entry without the above will be invalid. Also do check the link prior posting that it diverts to the post only one wants to submit as an entry. Eg of a valid entry in this contest will be as follows: Colors: 3 http://www.indianvid...dpost&p=1245607 Winner: - The member with the first Valid entry between 11:00pm - 12:00 am on the scheduled date is the winner Rules: - Participating member has to reside in India. - Entry has to be made in this same thread at the scheduled time. No PM's allowed. - One Post per member only allowed during the crunch time... - Editing of post is Disqualification. - Spam Posting during the crunch crucial time is subject to disqualification. - Smilies-only post invalid. - Winner will be declared officially next day... - The winner is prohibited to sell/Trade the Christmas giveaways here on IVG. Pls honour the christmas spirit sentiments... What u do with it outside IVG shudn't be a concern. - Previous Christmas Specials Winner will not be eligible to participate in the next 3 christmas offers.. Everyone needs to get a chance... Shipment: - As many giveaways will be held during December, shipment will be done in bulk. Winners have to be patient. - Winners will be intimated asking their complete details 2 days in advance. TARGET TO HUNT: - Find a post on IVG forums which contains max no of different colors used in its content (Text only). The post should also not contain even a single emoticon. - The post can have quoted replies / msgs etc as well.. Tally of all colors in text can be accounted. - Do note: only text colors will be accounted.. The text has not be a image it has to be plain forum text/html only. - The eligible Winner is the one whose post is first in thread with max different color count amongst the rest in thread between 11pm-12am today. - If two or more individuals have registered posts with same no of max different color count.. the person who posted first within the scheduled hour will be the winner. - [HIP] Posts link will not be accepted as valid entries. If a player has found the max no of colors in a post... but the actual post contained more colors.. his post will still win.. as he discovered the max colors than the rest members. If a player has found the max no of colors in a post.. but the actual post contained less colors.. his entry is invalid. Declaration of color count matters which will be checked upon his entry post. Any text that is represented by a image will not counted.. Also the post has to not include even a single emoticon. I suppose original posts of these Christmas contests aren't eligible.
