I am not good at drawing but i have this idea of a shield that is like a umbrella..round in shape...you can close it or open it...if you tap it will close and become spear ...so on one hand spear and one hand sword or wand(wahtever)..if you open it will become shield...

This is the template for Japan/Asian territories. I might give it a shot if i get time :P Will ask my friend to help, who is good in computer drawing and stuff.

Last yr. in NOV.when Dark souls 2 was announced dev's told that the game is just about 25% complete & may NOT have a 2013 release date.Early 2014 was predicted by most of the gaming news websites & by Epicnamebro as well....

But i think with the advent of playstation 4/xbox720 in OCT/NOV this yr the developers have really quicken the development of ds2 & the game might come out as early as LATE SEPTEMBER/EARLY OCT this yr. itself....

I have done a BIT of research to substantiate my point.

IN 2011 when Dark souls was to be released FROM software organised a similar DESIGN A SHIELD CONTEST IN JAPAN in the month of MAY & announced the results in July.

Game finally came out in OCTOBER'11 if my memory serves me right...

So,chronologically speaking (connecting the dots) DARK SOULS 2 also have a similar contest running up in about the same time frame. So all this points in only one direction ....DS2 is going to be released in SEP/OCT'13....!!

What do you guys say.....???

If this will be the case,SEP/OCT is going to be a blast for gamers with DS2 & GTA V lined up :)

I am expecting a release date for DS2 @E3 !! :)

UPDATE:: Dark souls 2 has a release date according to GAMETRAILERS:: 29/10/2013

ya,souls in 3D would be like SONE PE SUHAGA !!

btw has anyone played crysis 2 or any other game on 3d tv ??

How good/bad is the experience ?? :)

I've tried Batman: AA (PC), The Witcher 2 (PC), GT5, Motorstorm Apocalypse, UC3, KZ3 and a few more. Results are largely mixed.

- UC3's 3D is sh*t

- GT5's 3D is a bit hit or miss.

- Batman and TW2 have incredible 3D effects on objects close to the camera but the effect all but disappears on objects in the background.

- KZ3's 3D is a real pain to witness since KZ3's normal framerate itself is so low.

- Motorstorm is a star in 3D.

That would be the worst thing that they could do. I loved the subtlety of the story in DS which left a lot of room for speculation. Even if the story seemed bone bare at first it had a lot of depth, even the endings weren't what they seemed to be.

The lore that can be brought forward from very simple details like the contents of a chest is amazing in DS.

God I hope they don't put a idiotic straight forward story in it.

There are female NPCs in both Demon's Souls and Dark Souls with whom we can interact, I don't think we can gather anything from just the image at the moment.

She could just be a merchant/covenant member.

And while the lore in these games is very interesting and uniquely presented, I personally wouldn't mind some more context behind my actions and particularly some closure at the ending.

They might be making a mistake here. Games like DS2 is not very mainstream. People who are interested in the title probably already know about the game , spending too much on marketting isnt gonna boost the sales much.
