Decade+2 ....That's what i meant when i said GAME OF THE CENTURY !! hahahaah.... & yes as you said these games already had gameplay elements which are second to none.Changing that can ruin the experience and keeping it the same can cause distress among us (been there done that).But,in the 12 minute demo what we saw was,they have kept the core combat elements same adding features to the enemy AI like enemy have a way to counter your critical attacks...this all makes it even more challenging. So,what the developers have tried to implement in this game is they haven't changed the core mechanics & they have taken enemy responsiveness/graphic fidelity to a whole new level.Concept art clearly shows that the LEVELS will be much more dense with LOT of human NPC's so that we feel engaged and NOT as aloof as we felt in the previous installment. Personally,i don't think they are gonna betray us.It's going to be a SMASHING HIT !!! Though i agree its too early to pass on a judgement.Well,NOT YET !! I was looking at my inventory in DS and saw in the description of the Izalith Calalyst which talked about Flame Sorcery that was present a long time a ago. Since there have been thoughts about this game being a time travel deal (Would explain the absence of humanity meter- Cause no Dark Souls was present and it never got split.) it would be awesome if they included that. It's an important part of dark souls 2.I am god damn sure NOW !!!! & all signs IT being a prequel !! Look at the following concept arts...It will illustrate something for us... & Now see this one.... & then this one.... What can we conclude from these keeping TIME as our frame of reference....hmmmm....interesting.... 3rd ART is a dilapidated version of the second one...!!!! Who/what caused this chaos.....??? 1st ART is a replica of the second maybe after LORD GWYN linked the fire..... This clearly shows that the game takes place in a TIME frame encompassing DS1,or atleast there has to some reference to it....POINT OF INFLEXION has to be somewhere...But WHERE ??? Sounds a hell LOT interesting to me IF WE CAN SOMEHOW TIME TRAVEL from DS2----->Events of DS1....Maybe change the future/the past.... hahahah...lots can be speculated....yet nothing is certain...I can be Completely wrong...I might have HIT bulls eye...Can't say for certain !!!
