Keano
Patch was installed for PS4 version yesterday. Looks like durability bug is fixed now.  yeah, saw the patch notes on reddit    Attention: Dark Souls II players! We will be pushing a version and calibrations update in the coming weeks to address a few gameplay enhancements. Please see below for a list of upcoming changes: On Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Steam (DirectX 9), Steam (DirectX 11):Fixed issue whereby weapon durability was decreased drastically when used on enemy corpses, friendly characters, etc. (Especially apparent for users running the game at 60 fps as the durability decrease rate was linked to the frame rate). Fixed issue whereby actions requiring both button and stick controller input (Jump Attack, Guard Break) were not properly registering in-game. On Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Steam (DirectX 11):Fixed issue whereby summoning sign was displayed in Drangleic Castle and Throne of Want even though the player had defeated all bosses in the area.Fixed issue whereby the moment of death replay for some blood stains weren’t being displayed online. Fixed issue whereby client side may hang during the event movie for Laddersmith Gilligan in Earthen Peak. Fixed issue whereby the Host may not be able to load their save data after stopping the game while waiting for matching to complete in online mode. On Xbox One: Fixed issue whereby game may quit suddenly if player pauses the system during online multiplayer. Fixed issue whereby game may leave online multiplayer if the user pauses the system during online play then starts the game again. Fixes issue whereby the game may hang if the user goes back and forth between different maps over and over again. Fixed issue whereby the host may not return to normal offline play as intended when their network connection is cut off during online multiplayer. On Steam (DirectX 9):Fixed issue whereby, when playing online, it may appear that the player is sliding forward because the walking motion animation is not being displayed properly. We’ll update everyone as soon as we know the exact date and time that the version and calibrations changes will occur. Thank you for your feedback and patience!
Keano
Yeah there are some ways to farm it. But use them carefully on selected items to save time.. Never upgrade armors with them. Â Â using it to upgrade Sunset staff. Am still mad that i cant use the resonant dark soul hex with this staff.
KyoyaHibari
Resonant soul is only useful in PvP, waste of souls in sp. Just use dark orb it has decent damage and lots of uses.
Keano
^ yeah, dark orb spamming right now 46 of them per run
KyoyaHibari
Lol.. Full upgraded aunset staff and 30 int, fth would kill bosses in couple of hits with dark orbs. Â But don't use dark orb too much itl ruin the balance. Try to meele weapons as much as possible.

Keano
Killed Vendrick. moving to DLC's now. Is there a certain order I should follow?
Aftrunner
Not really. AFAIK you can do them in any order. Â In terms of difficulty though, Sunken king is the easiest then Iron king and then Ivory king. Also the DLC is much tougher than the base game, so might wanna make sure you have decent equipment heading in. Ivory king has the best loot though. And the most fun co op fights. Â More fashion souls - Â http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/544153074125577362/8E4C52B7E1A9A633C5C795E4CEFAD6B8142980ED/ Edited May 20, 2015 by Aftrunner
WhiteWolf
You can play them in any order you want.... Â Â Kill Watchers and Nashandra first and then move to DLC... Â Edited May 20, 2015 by WhiteWolf

I have run through the game using hexes, Grand Lance(beast) and Dark silverblack spear. Picked up curved dragon great sword and maxxed it for dlc's as you mentioned that enemies in dlc are resistant to hexes.

lithuvien
So finally got this game. Told my wife that new job deserves new game  So, love the concept of having 4 rings and love the white ring that lets me look like a summon Hate the durability. I had to run around with 4 falchions cause they would break so fast. Power stance with dual wield is awesome., Don't remember if DS1 had that. Currently playing with a large club. I am loving the 2 handed smash which knocks pretty much any enemy to the ground.  Any recommendations for a boss soul weapon from the bird-like weaponsmith? She makes the first one for free, if I remember correctly.  All in all. DS1 and DS2 have convinced me that it is a good idea to buy a pS4 so I can enjoy Bloodborne and the upcoming DS 3.  BTW, how does co-op work? Is it based on your soul levels?
KyoyaHibari
It's based on soul memory(no. Of souls you acquired in total) and soul level. I believe after crossing 4 million souls memory soul level restrictions won't apply.
lithuvien
So I am nearly done with the game. Looking forward to NG+ and beyond. How is pyromancy in DS2? Is it viable against bosses? And what is a good weapon for NG+ and beyond? Currently running with Red Iron twinblade, Dark sunset staff and Magic wisdom staff. I have more or less stopped using sorceries since they only end up tickling bosses. Hitting them in the face with my twinblade does more damage, which is very disappointing as I love caster roles and magic aint doing much, except against the Darklurker.
