Dual sword wielding : Mirror knight with lightning sword & mirror shield : Battle with mirror knight (This guy right here is even Tougher than O&S) : Oh !!!! man.............Look at the environments !!! Amazing !!! & this mirror knight is at the very start of the game & he is supposed to be tougher than any other BOSS in Dark souls 1 !!! Just imagine what challenge we are up to in the later half of the game.... IDK if anyone noticed but there is fire sorcery in the demo video. Made it a gif for convenience. Description of izalith catalyst- Before the birth of pyromancy, their wandswere mediums for sorcery, but knowledge ofthis flame sorcery has long since vanished. The following screenshot shows the protagonist performing a fire spell ..(uploaded on DARK SOULS 2 official website) & they have NAMED it as MAGIC...!!! & as we can see it is also performed with a catalyst......so maybe in DARK SOULS 2 magic can be performed with a catalyst like sorcery in DS1....Or on the flip side what you have said makes perfect sense to me.....Anything is possible.....It seems both the Gif and the screenshot are taken from the same area.....Sounds grotesque though Edited June 13, 2013 by ProblemSmoker Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

In the retail version, the Mirror Knight — the 20-foot humanoid tank with the plated armor and the magical lightning sword — will not eject an AI-controlled enemy from his oval mirror shield. He will eject a human-controlled character. In Dark Souls 2, you will fight a monstrous boss and, at the same time, engage in PvP combat with a human enemy hellbent on your destruction and the spoils your death will bring. That is really epic.
