In the first pic, the guy looks like he's using a Dragon's Tooth.

And I'm loving the moonlit areas, dark Anor Londo looked amazing, this area seems to have that kind of vibe.

EDIT: Found more of those pics here, too lazy to link all of them.

But just look at this mofo-

I really REALLY like the Blue Sentinels covenant. Protecting the unsuspecting from invaders is one of my favorite things in Dark Souls. I hope that Way of the blue is the first covenant you run into, that way new guys always have a bodyguard ready. :batman:

The Brotherhood of Blood covenant work in a similar manner to Darkwraiths from the first “Dark Souls” video game as it is tailored towards players who like to invade other people’s games. Instead of harvesting humanity, the members of the Brotherhood of Blood are tasked with accumulating blood.

As in, they collect bloodstains?

The release of From Software's Dark Souls 2 early next year will be preceded by an official comic book titled Dark Souls 2: Into the Light, Namco Bandai Games Europe announced today.

Details are scant on the content of the graphic novel set in the world of Dark Souls 2, but Namco Bandai did announce the creative team involved. Writers Rob Williams (Judge Dredd, Star Wars Tales) and Andi Ewington (45) are teaming up with artist Simon Coleby (Judge Dredd, Rogue Trooper) to create the book, which will be made available online for free. According to Namco Bandai Games Europe, a limited print version will be created "for certain editions of the game in certain countries."

Dark Souls 2: Into the Light is scheduled for release in January 2014. Dark Souls 2 will be released in North America on March 11, 2014 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, then in Europe on March 14. A Windows PC version is due shortly thereafter.

They haven't announced any next gen version. Game will release on March 14 on PS360. PC version to follow shortly. No release date announced yet.

I will of course play on PS3. That online community  After I am done with this game, my PS3 can RIP.

What do you guys think about this new summon time limit? The reason for this time limit is simple - They don't want you to co-op with your friends. This game is clearly designed to be play with strangers.

"It's the sharing of emotions, the sharing of the loneliness with other people, so that you get that faint sense of comfort when you feel that another player's facing the same difficulties in the game, but without being able to have direct contact," Miyazoe said.

"Death is a big part of Dark Souls, but it's also the loneliness when you're facing the difficulties, you're that close to giving up, but you want to take that extra step, and having this loose connection with other players is one of the things that helps you to stride on."

While it was not easy to find your friends to help you fight the toughest bosses in Dark Souls, it was possible. This will be even tougher in the upcoming Dark Souls 2 says Takeshi. He confirmed that it was not the intention to let players join up with friends, saying 'this is not what we want.'
