I will probably pick up the PS3 version (wont have XBL gold after Jan, actually probably wont have a 360 after Jan) and get rid of it when the real version arrives. :D

What do you guys think about this new summon time limit? The reason for this time limit is simple - They don't want you to co-op with your friends. This game is clearly designed to be play with strangers.

Eh. What the developers want and what I want dont always align. I am sure there will be a "fix" on the PC before too long to rectify any lingering issues.

Getting the game on PS3 for sure.

That, and they don't want phantoms to clear areas for you. But I'm sure that the covenants don't have the summoning limit.

“For Dark Souls 2, we don’t even expect any additional downloadable content because we want to deliver a full game, the full experience, to fans who purchase the package from day one," said Miyazoe in an interview with Edge.

"We did do additional content for Dark Souls," continued Miyazoe, "but generally downloadable content for Dark Souls 2 is not really being considered. Buy the package and you’ll get the full experience, and you’ll have as much fun as anybody else."

Miyazoe also ruled out the idea of microtransactions and free-to-play elements. "Spending a couple dollars on certain items does not help the experience. So no free-to-play yet!”

- The darkness of Huntsman's Copse was a common complaint in the beta, FROM said that they are not going to make any brighter, there will be critical moments where you will be forced to choose between a shield's protection and a torch's vision.

Oh yeshu. I hope there are more, totally dark areas, with Near close to Invisible Enemies, You know like Crysis MP. Light Distortion.

I seriously hope for more deaths in masochist ways.

I HATED TotG. I know everyone dislikes that but I disliked it from a gameplay perspective. Its not the dark I mind, its all those small ledges. The combat is no fun when you are fighting on a 2 foot wide pathway. Its the same reason I dislike a large chunk of Demon Souls and why I think Dark Souls is much better from a level design perspective. Having more room to move really lets the combat flow.

As far as difficulty is concerned, TotG is tough. Unless you are a sorcerer, then its almost a cakewalk. But then again, so is most of Dark souls for Sorcerers. :P
