(A)Kira
Fast travel from the start will make it easier for speed runners, but mandatory invasions even when offline are the trade-off in this game, so I guess it evens it out. Hope they increase PvP range from +-10 to something like 20 or 25.. ppl i often randomly meet are always out of my range, so i couldnt ask for a duel out of them Yeah :/ But the covenant of the fittest will get you instant duels so thats an improvement on the PvP scene. And at launch there'll be no shortage of duels, and even 2.5 years later I'm sure you can find good duels.
meaNmachine
Ignore if already posted. Found some interesting new info There's now voice chat during co-op.Co-op matchmaking has undergone some fundamental changes and will now allow you to choose regional matchmaking, as well as worldwide, so you can team up with people who are closer to your geographical location.Players will have the choice of ten different gods, and if friends are signed up to the same god, their chances of being connected are increased.Ability to burn items in a bonfire to increase enemy difficulty and reduce the chances of player invasion. There's also an item - Soul Vessel that can reset your character parameters, presumably enabling you to change your playstyle by redistributing your Soul Level points more easily------ The bold part
KyoyaHibari
Being able to invade hollow is not at all a good thing, as it is now 20-30% of ppl just disconnect after seeing invading message. Its a lot of timewaste for invaders. Now that hollows adds to the list the percentage only increases
KyoyaHibari
There is some sort of penalty for disconnecting during an invasion. I remember reading it somewhere. Sounds great, but i cant imagine how they would do it..

WhiteWolf
I don't think they have announced the PC release date yet. A few weeks after console release maybe. Will PC version support sweet DX11 features like Tessellation nd all ?
SpearHea:D
Dark souls is about gameplay and lore not gfx . I dont think tessellation , dx11 etc would be there but Durante is there .

Heaven Angel
Will PC version support sweet DX11 features like Tessellation nd all ? LOL, first let them release a proper version with proper controls. Then we can worry about graphics department. (also, mods will be there, so nothing to worry). playstation
Nixxes for PC version... Those guys are too good when it comes to porting games to pc. I dont get it why are they not getting much offers to do it.
Aftrunner
^^They are probably too busy with just the SE/Eidos stuff. They arent exactly a huge team. I am not too worried about the PC version. With Durante's fix the PC version already was a MASSIVE improvement over the console versions. So even if they put in zero effort like before, it will still be fine. Of course there is still the release date. If its more than a couple of weeks late I might have to get the PS3 version first. :/
