It looks better than dark souls thats more than enough . All i care about is gameplay , lore , pvp & boss fights...f**k gfx.

+1000000

Give us more info on the lore, but not too much, and some new weapon classes. That should be enough.

Gameplay won't change that much, some minor and major tweaks to get things right. Like animation doesn't make you invincible and parry can be used as crowd control.

More weapon classes. That the sh*t we need right there.

Its so f**king ridiculous that they are showing off console screenshots. When you have a PC version that is OBVIOUSLY going to look miles beyond the console version then why in gods name would you pick to show off those terrible low res shots. Makes the game look bad.

They didnt even complete a PC version. also PC>consoles because HIGH specs formula doesnt work always. It depends on how much familiar the devs are in making game on that platform. The company never ever made a PC game, so obviously PC version will not be better than console version. But MODS can make PC version better looking, as in here PC>consoles because HIGH specs WORKS.

Compare Dark souls on PS3 and PC for example, PS3 version is far superior. But after adding some cool MODS PC version wins in the end though.

DSFix is also a mod, the one which was made by a fan within 1 day after release. The initial PC release was kindof terrible.

I believe they said they are making a good PC version and not a port of console version, but never said PC version is lead platform. Also i think they cant make PC a lead platform, because they are not familiar with it(just like any other Japanese devs). They would most likely try to hire someone with PC developing experience and try to figure out a way.

Yeah. No matter what the state of graphics is, for DS 2 it doesnt matter. It will have a very great design, so even with low res textures DS will always look great. Saying Dark souls looks like sh*t because of low res textures is like saying Zelda games look like sh*t cause of low lower Wii power. Only absolutely distasteful people can feel that way

Actually DSFix is not really a mod. It just enables (high resolution/AA/TF/D3D,etc) and pushes the base game capability (which was locked for no reason).

But if you consider it as a mod, then yes, PC version was terrible.

No idea, just shared what I read on GAF and few other sites.

Dark Souls II: PC is lead platform, will run at 60 FPS

The first Dark Souls was adapted from consoles to PC – this time, it's the opposite. The PC version serves as the base,

Cheers.

British comedian Peter Serafinowicz - the voice of Darth Maul in The Phantom Menace and actor in countless British sitcoms - will voice a character in Dark Souls 2, the sequel to Digital Spy's game of the generation.

"At the time, I rung every last drip of excitement and enjoyment out of the first game, so I was very excited to get my teeth into a new one. I had so much fun being involved with it, it's such an honour for me. I can't quite believe it, really."

He plays Mild-mannered Pate - "which sounds like a sort of Dark Souls version of Pete", says Serafinowicz - a character first encountered about an hour into the game, offering advice on the area ahead.
