(A)Kira
Is 3500 retail the black armour edition? If not, PSN here I come.
ProblemSmoker
^^^^ Edition is unconfirmed as of yet...Most probably INDIAN retail release will see STANDARD edition @3499 !!! @DinJo -- Bro most probably DARK SOULS 2 will get 9.5+ ...9.8 or even 10 is possible.... Marty silva who is reviewing DkS2 said in an interview that its much better than Dark souls 1......So,10 is a possibility as DkS1 got 9 !!! Also EnB + Vaati vidya+ that voice actor has already said that its the BEST game that they have EVER played in decades of their gaming experience !! My MoNey on 10/10 --IGN ! KyoyaHibari
What ign rates doesn't even matter. They rate very randomly and most of them are stupid. It is well known fact to all ign followers. Most ign viewers directly skip to comments instead of reading the article lol I'm 100% sure they won't rate a game like DS2 10, because graphics will get like 7-8/10 at max. They only give 10s to games like last of us, gta5 which are great as well as popular.
ProblemSmoker
^^^^^ Great games like GTA ??? Didn't see that coming atleast from a Souls FAN Depends what IGN takes MEDIAN/AVERAGE ......!!! If median 10/10..if average 9/
RenegadeRocks
All classes can dual wield. Classes won't have any effect on skills like always. Only initial equipment varies for diff classes. Does that go for magic too? Can any class be adept at magic over time? I skipped DS, played Demons Souls. What should I start as if I want to go for a weapon+Magic setup? And for a Heavy weapon setup? Also, can someone explain the Preorder bonus weapons we get with the PSN version(pre order-ed it)? Can they be used with any class? Whats special about them? Aftrunner
Classes in Demons/Dark Souls 1/2 are pretty much just starting points. You can start as a Sorcerer and end the game has a heavy melee build. As long as you have the points to use a weapon (STR or DEX) or cast a spell (INT or FAITH) you can use them. Classes dont matter. So yeah you can have a mixed Weapon+Magic build. I quite like a high STR/DEX and low INT build. You get a good couple of weapon enchantments at 15 INT that add a very nice weapon damage buff to your sword or whatever.
KyoyaHibari
I didn't play gta5 and im not that fond of gtas in general but I can say its great. Just because I don't like doesn't mean its not a great game. Its got great graphics, shooting mechanics, phisics and tons of fun side activities. Easily most open worldish game out there. Most open world games that come out lately are on gta4 level. Gta5 is a step ahead. Ign can't do math lol, what are you speaking? They just put numbers over there just because they have to. meaNmachine
Also, can someone explain the Preorder bonus weapons we get with the PSN version(pre order-ed it)? Can they be used with any class? Whats special about them? You get five weapons and shields. No idea if they are special, but they sure look ugly And ya, any class can use any weapon. You just need the required stats to use that weapon properly. Edited March 3, 2014 by meaNmachine

KyoyaHibari
I do this all the time lol Most of their articles are sh*t and they post news quite a bit late too. Comments are easily the best thing about ign. Yeah totally. I was so mad when IGN india launched and ign.com is redirecting to in.ign.com because i couldnt read comments lol. then Joe Cool told me to use /?setccpref=US and i was satisfied. Comments and memes in comments are the best part of ign. and ofc jessica chobot Ebay also has a seller selling Dark souls 2 with some discounts on credit, debit cards(6-7%) of many banks. Interested ppl can check that out. cost is same 3,499.

They sure are ugly to be sold as a pre order bonus :-/ Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
RenegadeRocks
and why do people want to start as Deprived? Is there any benefit for that? He doesn't even have a weapon. Genuinely asking. I think I might start as the explorer. Supposed to have many things to try out before settling on one, I guess.
pale-illusionist
What is soul level resetting?
ProblemSmoker
@renegadeRocks -- People, including me,want to start as deprived bcoz i think its all about deriving MAXIMUM sadistic pleasure from the game......You might have seen people defeating MANUS with a dagger and SL1 !! That's what this game is all about.......Setting near impossible targets for yourself..... ONLY Souls series offer you this..... @pale-illusionist -- Bhai,i think there is this one item ""Soul-vessel"" which allows you to reset your character’s parameters (where before you were forced to begin the game afresh with a new character)....So if you have STR build you can reset all your parameters with this soul vessel and go for say DEX build without having to start from scratch !! Also you can burn this item at any bonfire to increase the difficulty level of enemies which reduces chances of invasions...... KyoyaHibari
I just select class purely based on aesthetics. It will take around 10 hrs before you could find decent armor sets, can find some random sets like undead waist cloths and all but they are still ugly. Can't handle seeing undead butt for that much time . Also difficulty doesn't change that much even with deprived class. Swordsmen set looks cool IMO, a bit like pyro set which I used in DS. (A)Kira
Deprived may actually be the best class to start with for some people, not the hardest, but the easiest to mold into your particular style. And still lots of magicians huh. What about a staff or talisman dual wielder?
KyoyaHibari
Can reconfigure all stats using an item unlike DS. So that wouldn't be a prob. No idea about spells dualwield. I think there won't be anything like that.
