Never farmed any titanites, always bought them except for titanite chucks. But for boss weapons we don't need chucks. For crystal, lightning etc max weapons you can create a weapon at blacksmith, close game and reopen. That way you won't lose slab and chucks used after +10. Its not even like older games where you actually need good reflexes and memorize boss patterns and sh*t to beat the game. Just be patient and be wary of your surroundings , the game is slow and patient. You cant go YOLO and kill enemies 5v1. Dont be this guy. Started as Warrior Using any magic- Pyro, Miracles, Hexes, Sorcery? nope Do you have any armor with poise? nope Can you fast, mid or heavy roll? nope Are you rolling or blocking attacks? Yes Does your shield have 100% physical block? Not sure. If I block, i dont get hit. Have you tried to parry or backstab enemies? Yes Have you equipped/found any rings? Yes Are you choosing armor/weapons/consumables over leveling up? Nope What stats have you leveled up? STR, VIT, DXT. Whatever ups my strength+stamina+HP Are you retrieving your bloodstain after your death? Yes That should do it for now. I think the major issue was that I joined the Covenent. Game is not that hard gameplay wise. It's the mechanics like you lose the souls and restart at bonfire that makes it feel it is difficult. And the boss battles. This is your first game that's why you are finding it very difficult. Keep playing, you'll get better. Everyone finds it extremely difficult and frustrating the first time. Dark Souls brings out the worst in you, as a gamer. Also, don't forget to summon people (co-op) and check bloodstains (it tells you how other players died in that area) This game has the best online features. Also in Second half bosses are EXTREMELY difficult from what i have heard......Only hardcore gamers can BEAT this game (Without summoning players for help) ......NO way a CoD/GTA fanboy would reach even close to its ending LOVING IT !! I am starting my first playthrough on 14th with COVENANT OF CHAMPIONS.....need to know if i can beat it ...also their are exclusive rewards in this covenant if someone beat a boss with such HIGH difficulty....... Not every COD player is derp. There are some real hardcore players too. Dark Souls is less hard, more tactical if you ask me. All you need is patience and free mind. If you're gonna just jump in thinking you'll kill, then you'll keep dying. _ Looks like they are not going to add VAC this time on PC (again). It'll be filled with cheats and trainers again. No, I need to collect greatswords, katanas and shields and +10 them to make then into boss weapons. But I'm just too lazy. I'm having too much fun with my strength playthrough, Man Serpant Greatsword is so OP. And Ambar, start using magic, it's always helpful for newcomers. And do you block enemy attacks or roll around them? And the first rule is to get some Poise. However small, you CANNOT be without poise, especially with strength weapons. The rule of thumb is to get enough poise but not to let the armor weight compromise your rolling speed.
