Oh god. f**k the run to the Iron keep final boss. Its a bloody gauntlet. And then, right at the end, they put a ninja knight that drops from above right after you reach that corridor with the turtle. So you are stuck in a corridor with a turtle up front and the ninja behind you. Goddamn genius troll move. I wasnt even mad, thats actually hilarious.

I ended up resorting to using poison arrows and the Belfry Sol bonfire to finally get through. That section was harder than any boss so far.

Anyway, if I take the bow I have up to the poison path, do I still need poison arrows or will regular arrows do poison build up?

Not sure about the poison infusion on bows, never tried that. Sounds like something worth trying though. There are a LOT of places in the game where having ranged options really helps.

That section in Iron Keep was hard yes but I didn't have a lot of trouble there. Mainly because my GH Soul Arrows coupled with binoculars destroyed everything in two hits.

What are you investing in then? All you need is ATT and INT. Just shove 20 points into VIG and you are done. Between STR and DEX I have levelled up about 25 times. I imagine if I did that with INT I would have about 40 INT. Keep the same health which I have right now (20). Swap out END and ADP for ATT. And even at SL 60-70 I would be a murder machine.

You can not infuse bows and crossbows with poison :P

Only one NPC (Gavlan) sells poison arrows.

Finished the two bosses in Tower of Flame. The Dragonrider was insanely easy, shield up and then R2. Rinse and repeat.

And the other boss actually made me really sad  The thought of him, really old and wandering around with a spotty memory and creaking limbs, really made me feel sorry for him.

And the giants in the Tower of Flame area were really bad, they only had one moveset and they kept repeating it. They could've made them a little better.

Brought the ship into the harbor in No Man's Warf, but I couldn't find where to enter it from, so instead I helped as a few guys to clear Huntsman's Corpse from first bonfire to boss instead.

The ship is a straight path downwards from the bell. You'll have to cross the docks - be wary of ambush. This got me really bad a few times under I figured out where the hollows come out from. On the plus side, the boss of this area is super easy.

The first Sorcery vendor is also in this area.

BTW Heide's Tower of Flame is meant to be done as the second area after Forest of the Fallen Giants. Considering you've already beaten the Lost Sinner you'll pretty much stomp over these areas. Also, mild spoiler.. .No Man's Wharf circles back to The Lost Bastille from another side.

Still havent started ng+ since I want to kill the ancient dragon and vendrick first , both are optional bosses. The former is simply the hardest boss in the game and I lack the requirement to kill the latter. If anyone's playing on 360 please lend me your giants souls. I nearly beg every phantom and invader who joins me but they're too scared to.

Okay, three words for Shrine Of Amana... F**K THIS PLACE.

Such a short area and still took me well more than an hour to get past it.

You need to carry a torch to see through the water better or move your camera down but that's annoying. And u have to worry about getting ambushed by those creatures which hide in the water , the incredibly long range casters and temple knights.

Not sure if people have missed this but you can engage with the pursuer a second time. Just go back to the room where u killed the smelter demon after you have lit the bonfire upstairs.

Yes I fought Pursuer V2.

As for Shrine of Amana, my R2 for the MLGS helped a ton to figure out where the drops in the water were. I got killed mostly by the damn mages until I figured out the best places to snipe them from. That NPC summon in one of the huts also helps a lot.
