Infamous Posted September 3, 2015 Report Share Posted September 3, 2015 MGS V open world is empty with not much going on screen compared to W3, so no wonder it runs smooth @ 60fps compared to W3 on consoles... There are more NPCs in Novigrad alone than entire Afghanistan map of MGS V. We want some variety..Why even bother creating a big open world map when you can't do it right like other open world games? The point is how well the game is running in a console. I agree that on screen content is more in Witcher but it couldnt maintain a good 30 FPS. Atleast they should somehow make it run at 30 FPS. Whereas here its not just 30, its solid 60 FPS. I dont get what kinda variety we can get from a pure Stealth game? I think once we unlock other buddies in the game, we may see some variety in the way we play. I dont know if you have played all the other MGS games. This is certainly the best, most polished MGS game i have played, which in itself is a great feat (Atleast one of the earlier MGS game is considered the best game ever). I absolutely loved the Witcher 3. I think MGS is just as good as W3, but better in all the consoles. Also me being a Destiny player I dont mind in grinding until its fun to play. Sach4life Posted September 3, 2015 Report Share Posted September 3, 2015 We are not comparing gameplay, as gameplay in MGS V is different from other open world games..We are just comparing how rich and how much variety world offers compared to other open world games. Open world is by far the weakest point of MGS V. It's just dull and bland compared to other open world games... You can't take different things and compare and then assign rating to the overall game ignoring other aspects. MGS 5 is 10/10 according to reviewers not because of open world but because of how gameplay systems work and blend with the world. Iam giving my personal opinion From what i have played so far, missions are very repetitive and boring.. Still need to do mission 9 and 10, it jumped to 11 because Quiet tried to kill me Doing all the side ops first because I need better gear. If you use too much smoke they will start deploying thermals. If you use too much DD they will......well they can't do jack. DD is OP as fk.
