The same reason I'm still playing the game in spite of the mundane side missions. The main missions are well worth it making the game addictive it's own way. The entire structure of the main missions, the bland story line and the ridiculous characters were definitely not the reason I'd come back to this game. It's the gameplay. Somehow, that's the only thing which prompted me to complete the main storyline on PC in the first place. There is no denying that the gameplay is dam solid out here. The whole point of trying to do a 'S' rank and getting all objectives is made really good due to the fact that the approach you can take is unique for each mission. Side Ops were complete joke and they could have easily cut down that quantity to make more meaningful side missions. But it gets addictive when every time you're in the field and you feel like extracting that extra A++ or higher rank soldier to add to your motherbase. Heck, that's all I used to do; keep fulton extracting everyone. @Black_Hawk I'm surprised you're not ghosting your way through this game. I mean you're the stealth master for Pete's sake. What approach are you taking? It's been a long time since our last conversation on Hitman Absolution Purist difficulty run topic on TE. Ethan_Hunt Posted December 18, 2017 Report Share Posted December 18, 2017 I resumed my PC playthrough and been playing this non-stop over the weekend. I'm at 58% completion and progressing at a crawling speed. Going to finish off the remaining side Ops, which are about 30 left now and then move onto S rank run, post which all tasks run. Built a sh*t ton of weapons and upgraded D-Walker too. However, my mother base management skills are absolutely horrible. I must have played this game for more than 80 hours but only just realised that the higher ranked soldiers that I keep fultoning don't directly get added to my units, but rather get sent to the brig and based on some random in-game time get released and only then are they added to your respective units. Everything in this bloody game is tied to in-game time, which is slower than a 1 legged dog on tranquilizers. Nevertheless, slowly building my way up and it's fun. Personally I enjoy player Fob missions coz my base is so strong that players keep failing every time they try to retaliate and I get sh*t ton of free rewards for successful defense If you are on PC or PS4. Just add me to your Fob support list. Incase your Fob gets attacked then I can retaliate on your behalf. And your Fob will attacked even if you don't take part in Fob actively coz after mission 22 your Fob goes online. If it shows up in my list then I will take everything from your base I recommend upgrading Security unit. The ending cut-scenes were so hard hitting, heart wrenching stuff. As he smeared the ashes... the powerful agony was so intense. Coupled with the music and the soft glow of the sun yonder the sea... it was perfect. Moments like these make you fall in love with video gaming even more. "I will always be with you. Finally hit around level 60 on my R&D unit after hours and hours of grinding for S & A++ rank soldiers. Now I can finally develop some those grade 5 weapons. Finished mission 46 and dam that twist. I always had that question since the Prologue and can't believe I didn't play the end mission even though it was unlocked for me. Got the infinity bandana & Cyborg ninja outfit developed. Now to have some fun with it on Side ops. Zodka, what are the most difficult tasks for 100% completion? I'll try to get them out of the way first. Player Fobs with high security level give best rewards in the game. If you manage to infiltrate player Fob without triggering combat alert then he will not be able to retaliate and you get lot of good rewards. Check all available Fobs and choose the one which has security level around 40 or less with only 2-3 platforms. 50+ ones with S+ security soldiers give really good rewards, but also very challenging and risky. Online tasks are only available for a week. Every Tuesday you get new challenge Tasks and every 2 weeks you get new Fob event. No risk with decent rewards But if you want high reward and want it without grinding for hours then you have to engage with other player controlled FOBs, you have to invade their FOB and steal soldiers and containers nd all..If you are able to infiltrate without triggering combat alert then other player can't attack you back. Player controlled FOBs are not part of event FOB. Event FOB Tab is different. Or You can try invading player controlled FOBs under security challenge tab in FOB missions. No fear of retaliation if you invade FOBs under Security Challenge tab, but FOB owner will instantly detect your presence and will come to fight one on one if he is online in the game. This is the only risk involved, enemy player can't invade your FOB and steal your stuff.. FOB is very deep and very rewarding if you know what you are doing.. Add me to your Steam friends or PSN friends list, then i will add you to my FOB support tab in the game, which will allow you to visit my FOB anytime and i can visit yours, we can also retaliate incase our FOBs get attacked by other players. I love invading FOBs and destroy enemy player base coz i want them to retaliate. Here check out some super high level FOB gamelay. Infiltrating PS4 World no.1 FOB player base You will not face such high players as your FOB level low.
