CarbonCore
That is possible if they are honest with us..by showcasing footages of the PC version and not just consoles..before the release..Also by not acting shady during reviews (by not sending review codes for PC etc)... You don't have to pre-order, you can pick it up day one or not pick it up at all. But its a vicious cycle, publisher's see only 10% sales from certain version, they spend less time on it which means terrible ports (and now refunds), which leads to even less sales and the cycle continues. Not too long ago we didn't even get PC versions of most games, only those that already had PC versions and jumped to consoles.
PhantomShade
its a catch 22 situation somebody makes a good port,it doesnt meet sales expectations.Suits decide to allocate less money for next porting job somebody makes a sh*t port, people go bonkers obviously, gamers then refuse to buy games at launch instead at steam chawwani sales You don't have to pre-order, you can pick it up day one or not pick it up at all. WhiteWolf
We haven't seen any PC footage till date..This title will be using Nvidia Gameworks and we all know how ineffective that is and also puts AMD cards at doubt..Kojima isn't working for Konami anymore and they both have been at conflict during the production of this game so i don't know what will its end result be atleast on PC.. Ground Zeroes came 8-9 months after the console release so they had enough time to work on it..Plus can't say the game was completely perfect..Of course, the game didn't have any game breaking bugs, ran very smoothly but had bad FOV and other control bugs which caused problems.. So, lets be careful anyways..pre-ordering games has been the biggest curse for all of us in recent times (on PC)...And if the game delays, i'll be happy to know that they are paying extra attention towards PC platform... Don't worry, MGS V runs on same tech as GZ. Game will run and look great on your PC
ALPHA17
There's no shame in spending 60$ on a game day one, publishers might even start taking PC gamers seriously if they do. Just like they took you seriously with Destiny. And the HALO collection.
PhantomShade
Just like they took you seriously with Destiny. And the HALO collection. Last i checked,Destiny didn't have stuttering issues.Or missing effects and no AO,With vague settings.Or issues of installing from discs.I.E the so-called "Master Race" is treated like third class citizens by most Publishers and Devs. HALO MCC just had issues with its Multiplayer component.I seem to remember a game that had serious Multiplayer problems at launch which took around a year to fix fully. It was called Battlefield 4 And CA totally took you seriously with Rome II Edited July 3, 2015 by PhantomShade

ALPHA17
And CA totally took you seriously with Rome II Yup, they did. Got to play the game instead of saying, FML. Kucch sahi nahi hota hai. I think you guys love buying all the content you paid for over and over again. Within a year on the same platform for some emotes. HALO MCC just had issues with its Multiplayer component.I seem to remember a game that had serious Multiplayer problems at launch which took around a year to fix fully. It was called Battlefield 4 Guess which platform helped them do that. Is still making sure you poor guys have some content being handed out without being paid. But I guess, that is second-hand citizens work. PhantomShade
Yup, they did. Got to play the game instead of saying, How is my sig related to the posts on this thread ? O_o. Also yes,i hope you enjoyed those ships sailing on dry land and defending that awesome feature too I think you guys love buying all the content you paid for over and over again. Within a year on the same platform for some emotes. WUT? Atleast try to be specific with your vague jibes ffs,Who is this aimed at? ALPHA17
I did not defend it genius. I posted to show the level to it was so broken. Would you be specific every time as well then but then I have not seen much specificity from your end till now. CarbonCore
Just like they took you seriously with Destiny. And the HALO collection. Destiny has been near flawless since day one, the entire game is basically the only argument there is 'in favor' of always online system. ALPHA17
^ Yup, that is probably the only thing they got right. Everything else they showcased, themselves was not present in the final game but I think you guys should be the judge of it. I am not going to pay for such a predatory system.
CarbonCore
The original argument was about multiplatform titles receiving poor/late/no PC ports because PC players cheaping out when it actually comes to spending money on games, but carry on. I don't want it to go down the path of 'controlling steering in a racing game with a mouse scroll wheel' again

PC games always had regional pricing .. and if konami doesn't take PC seriously its thr loss anyways

I was not the one complaining about PlayStation game prices but I do not want to go down that path.
CarbonCore
How is regional pricing cheaping out . The regional pricing is primarily there in place to combat rampant piracy on that platform in that particular region. At this point they're just delivering games on disk at a nominal price so you don't go and download huge data from piratebay.
ALPHA17
^ Not if the companies name is Bethesda or EA and if people want to purchase the game they will pick it up.
