motopsycho Posted December 10, 2012 Report Share Posted December 10, 2012 My phat 80gb ps3 turns off by itself when i play certain games. This happens repeatedly but with the same game. I play FIFA 13, LA Noire,MK,Batman AC... nothing happens but when i played Resistance 3 and Max Payne 3..it turns off...do any of you have an idea how this can be resolved? thank you Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Got no solution for it though. Had to buy a new one with 50% discount on exchange.. My PS3 was shut down few days ago with red blinking light and gave me message of over heating before shutting down. I am using cooling pad now. Since then nothing happened. Sell it ton trading post clearly stating that the ps3 is laput and it can be replaced with a brand new ps3 with 1 year warranty by paying 11-12k and getting either the 12gb or 500gb model I got the 500gb model and if that is unavailable they give you 12gb, if you want you can wait and get the 500gb when it's available.
