Headset for PS3

I want to buy a new Headset for PS3 .. i have few options here which makes me hard to choose one, Want it for Gaming no other purpose

Can i attach 3.5 mm Jack to my Monitor which is only for PS3 use

 

Tried to find an Official Sony PS3 Headset which is not available on Indian sites

there are some skullcandy gaming heapdphones which are universal and wireless ....but only problem is that they haven' t released in india yet ...but they have released in us
