outsider Posted January 20, 2013 Report Share Posted January 20, 2013 So, I understand from Hannah Montana that this Max Payne character was my secret santa. I'm not particularly fussed that I didn't receive a gift. My participation in Secret Santa wasn't particularly premised upon the fact that I'd be getting a gift. It's Christmas - the season of giving, and it has its own joy and reward. That said, Abhi's secret santa endeavour is based on reciprosity. The whole project would fail without it. So, to the extent that it has a broader impact on the community, maybe some action is required. You'd have to weigh that against the fact that this kid had to find some way to get something across to someone who is overseas, which isn't necessarily an easy task.
