^^Imagine Activision buying Saint's Row from THQ.

(one of the bold prediction by IGN)

That will be the death of SR series,

is there not any way that THQ still survives with just its most imp games like Metro, WWE and SR??

Why WB?

Acc to Rocksteady, WB treat developers much better than other publishers..They give lot of creative freedom to Devs....Lollipop chainsaw was a WB published game...EA or Acti would never publish a game like Lollipop :P/>... ...

WB are much better than EA or Acti......imo....

SE,2k,Bethesda and WB are best video game publishers right now....

If acti buy sr then expect 10x no of dlcs to current one to be released

SR3 has 20 DLCs. That's right... TWENTY. sh*t all you want on Activision but they (and every other publisher in the industry) are better than THQ when it comes to DLC.

Activision only supports those games which sells 8-10m copies like COD and Skylanders...If SR failed to sell 5-6m copies then they will shut Volition and SR forever..Which i don't want coz i love SR series and Volition.....Same goes for EA and Ubisoft ...That's why i want WB or Bethesda to pick SR and Volition :D/>....

SR3 has 20 DLCs. That's right...

But main game is amazing.....Sleeping Dog also has 20 plus dlc and all are sh*t whereas SR3 has 2-3 really good DLCs....Trouble with clones is good...

SE and WB has enough games for now

Bethesda / Vavle will never buy THQ or THQ games.

It'll be Activision or EA mostly.

Brutal Legend, Psychonauts developer reportedly shows interest in pursuing acquisition of unnamed THQ properties; auction set for Jan. 22.

Brutal Legend developer Double Fine has joined Electronic Arts, Warner Bros., and Ubisoft in showing interest in acquiring THQ assets during this month's proposed bankruptcy auction.

Distressed Debt Investing reports that Double Fine has requested bankruptcy filings in the ongoing THQ case. It is not clear if Double Fine's request is merely exploratory or which individual THQ assets the company may be interested in acquiring.

A Double Fine representative told GameSpot, "Double Fine owns the full intellectual property rights to Costume Quest and Stacking. However, THQ retains certain limited distribution rights that have not expired yet, and we are exploring our options with respect to those."

A United States bankruptcy court judge ruled this week that THQ must allow individual bids for its studios and franchises. Previously, the company had arranged a $60 million all-inclusive deal with Clearlake Capital Group. However, this move, along with the quick sale period, was contested by creditors and US Trustee Roberta DeAngelis.

THQ's bankruptcy auction, should one be necessary, will take place January 22 at 3 p.m. EDT in Wilmington, Delaware. Up for grabs are THQ studios and properties. These include Relic Entertainment (Company of Heroes), Volition Inc. (Saints Row), former Assassin's Creed director Patrice Désilets's THQ Montreal (unknown), and Vigil Games (Darksiders).
