avkash
Ok so I am in the same boat, they are giving the super slims as replacement (9000 for my more than 3 years old fat) here in Mumbai. I hate it. moreover the 12 Gb super slim they are giving does not even have a HDD Caddy so I can't even put in a new HDD. I have to buy the Caddy. I am ok with even that but that apparently is note even available here. I am going store to store to find a slim if I can :(/>
NitroNeo
But you can get a slim for slim & if you have the fat then you can get the smallest amount of GB version of the slim , why don't you prefer a super slim 500 gig , zodak told me that if you give sony a Rs.11,000 DD then you can get that 500 gig model , is it just because of the noise it will make or some users report it takes slightly more time to load or is there something else which i really need to know which makes the super slim a total ignore ? Also so since you have to buy a caddy does it mean our ps3 slim hard drive is of a different size ? so my ps3 slim hard drive wont fit in to the super slim 12 gb model ? avkash
teh hdd will fit but the caddy won't moreover the buggers are not giving 500 GB model

Try booting your ps3 without the HDD, if all works fine then you know what the problem is OMG. I have a dead NTSC-J 60GB fatty, that's like 5 years old, and has even been opened. Can I try? :fear:/>/> From what I've heard they don't even accept PALps3's which have been opened, definitely worth a try though. NitroNeo
teh hdd will fit but the caddy won't Hmm what do you mean by this , ps3 slim hdd + caddy should work for the 12 gb super slim right moreover the buggers are not giving 500 GB model :rant:/> I went to a mall today , asked one shop guy , he said sony will release new new 500 gb ps3 super slim in mid or late jan & for 22-23k , this sucks , i will officially boycott sony next gen

Deactivate without loosing fear but make sure you don't forget the password and your sign in email id when you get a new 1st of all set up your account and sync the trophies and then resume playing otherwise you will get this nasty message if you load up a backed save THIS SAVE BELONGS TO OTHER USER TROPHIES ARE DISABLED If you earn a trophy in this mode it will say trophies not earned lol

HotSonix
I hope my account is deactivated coz i deactivated it from ps3 lol a sen account is never deactivated, once it is created it will remain forever you cannot close, delete or deactivate it By deactivating it means the ps3 IDPS (each ps3 has a unique IDPS,do not confuse it with MAC address) associated with your account is removed Hope you get it
NitroNeo
The sony service centre guy mentioned that make the DD mumbai only , now because of this i got a " Pay Order " from my moms bank , mom is saying basically both are the same , but for mumbai only payments are done by pay order , now i am going to confirm with the centre , but i wanna know if sony india accepts Pay Orders or not ?
