HotSonix Posted January 2, 2013 Report Share Posted January 2, 2013 The sony service centre guy mentioned that make the DD mumbai only , now because of this i got a " Pay Order " from my moms bank , mom is saying basically both are the same , but for mumbai only payments are done by pay order , now i am going to confirm with the centre , but i wanna know if sony india accepts Pay Orders or not ? lol they only accept demand drafts , banker cheque and pay order no direct money Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Please tell me the proper trophy recovery process There are different user profiles, run a game on the service centre and then when you come back home, delete it and start afresh Also, why do you want to check the console there? @vodka: got your ps3? any updates? NitroNeo Posted January 5, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 5, 2013 I saw a vid youtube about ps3 SS dying with the same power issue that my ps3 slim succumbed too , many people are reporting the same in comments below that vid , now i am worried , i would check the ps3 at the service centre so if it's found faulty , i wouldn't have to travel for a hour just to go there & again repeat the replacement process , i don't trust sony anymore , well not after 2 dead ps3s anyway >_> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Last time they replaced it, it took 3 weeks Go to the service centre and take it, and test it there itself. NitroNeo Posted January 12, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 12, 2013 Ok got my super slim today , though i got a Sep 2012 model of the Super Slim , the price tag had Rs.19,990/- written on it & still i had to pay for the console according to the 50% of Rs.22,990/- , i should have got the New model since i paid Rs.11,495/- , this is how sony roll , them from here Anyway , i got my trophies back , now how do i transfer my old saves to the new system , i have them stored in the below format PS3 > SAVEDATA > all the game folders are here , so what to do now ? NitroNeo Posted January 12, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 12, 2013 Damn them , people who go there please check your replacement , mine also had the top tap removed slightly , i told the guy to give me another ps3 , at first he was saying that was the ps3 given to me , then when i persisted he said , there is no other ps3 there , i knew i was screaming at a wall , and i knew here in india i would just end up going to the store 2 more times to get a different console so i just checked it & got it , but this dirt treatment is common i guess in many companies , a few years back when i gave my 8800gt for replacement i got a used card in return instead of getting a new one & it makes some fan noise when playing new games of 2011+ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
