Kazekage Gaara
Hey guys, I have BSNL EVDO USB internet connected to my desktop. I get good speeds and am very happy with this. Now, what I want to do is get this internet "on the air via wifi" so my Android phone can access this internet. Now, if I get this... EDUP Mini Wireless N 11n Wi-Fi Nano USB Adapter Dongle WiFi http://www.ebay.in/itm/EDUP-Mini-Wireless-N-11n-Wi-Fi-Nano-USB-Adapter-Dongle-WiFi-/370715967053?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_203&hash=item565064be4d OR TP-Link 150Mbps Wireless USB Adapter, TL-WN727N, TPLink WiFi, 3 Years Warranty http://www.ebay.in/itm/TP-Link-150Mbps-Wireless-USB-Adapter-TL-WN727N-TPLink-WiFi-3-Years-Warranty-/321050451654?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_203&hash=item4ac0191ec6 If I get this and connect it to one of my USB ports on the desktop, can I transmit the internet on my desktop (coming via BSNL EVDO) into wifi signal so my Android phone can access it ? In the description of the above products, it's written that with this, I can access any wifi signal already present, so in layman terms, these are "wifi receivers" Will they transmit a wifi signal to be received by my Android smartphone ? If these are not what I need, can you guys link me to what I need ? Would really appreciate any input in this Thanx a lot in advance guys. TheHitman
Umm not sure if that would work since those devices can only receive signals and not transmit. Not sure about this so please let others confirm. This will definitely work though.. http://www.flipkart.com/tp-link-portable-3g-3-75g-wireless-n-router/p/itmd8fsebcjkr94y?pid=RTRD8FNGAPAKBDPC&ref=ce32a935-9068-4e9a-9c1d-faf752280e48&srno=t_8&otracker=from-search&query=wireless%20router%203g
