posting impression isnt bad

intial impressions from pirates have helped me in my buying(for specifically cancelling :P/> )

and this is internet how can u possibly be immune to initial impressions if a game is leaked

if not ivg then facebook or youtube comments or what not

only spoilers are bad :fear:/>

By your logic, anything and everything should be allowed anywhere and everywhere.

Please wait while I search for goatse.jpg

I'm sure there are ways to legally watch movies and TV shows that aren't released in India online without pirating.

iTunes India does not has TV shows for India due to Rating Guidelines and direct purchase from ABC/Fox/Showtime/CBS is restricted to India unless I'm forgetting something can you enlighten me.Lets not talk about movies because only Prometheus has been released on web that too restricted to Fox Digital Networks.

Its very well know that several vendors would used to sell file hosting accounts here but later they were stopped , see all those people who bought the account do not upload or download there images right ?

I'm not pointing to anyone but its like saying Chicken is Vegetarian but Mutton is Non-Vegetarian Japanese can go to hell on there boundaries for veg and non-veg

Don't want to drag this further as there is no end to this discussion this topic is only created just because someone got angry at someones view on the game was negative would he be created this thread if review would have been positive ?

\\ Bye

^ Ambars review wasn't negative at all.

Here

Played it for 1.5 hrs. Writing is terrible. Dante's line are cringe worthy. Lack of lock on makes combat seem gimped. Lack of styles makes it lame and boring. Unlocked 2 more weapons and few combos, getting S rating is a piece of cake on normal difficulty. Platforming is sh*t. Why the f**k they forced it on us? Game looks good, and yes, 30 fps DOES FEEL SLOW for a DMC game.

That scene where wig (some garbage white in color) falls on gay Dante and he slightly looks like real Dante, is followed by him looking in mirror and saying "Not in a million years" That is like NT saying to fans: *beep* you, we are making this sh*t and you will have to deal with it.

The combo chaining is very sluggish as well. There is no seemless chaining. Absolutely horrible.

Some of those might be warranted, like the writing and the dialogue (something that has never been the strong suit of a DMC game anyway) He goes on to criticize the combat system, something which was praised by every other professional reviewer.

Your argument, not just this one, is based on your "assumption" that everyone on the forum is indulged in the piracy, of games or other content, so whatever you do is automatically forgiven. Good job.

Now, I don't deny that all of us have helped ourselves or do it time to time, but that doesn't mean that one should try to spoil someone a buy or even force someone to buy, a game which you have access to prior to the release date, I might add 'illegally'.

And if I go with your logic of drawing logic between games and movie piracy:

People with access to watchable/portable DVDRip/BRRip of a movie before the theatrical release = 0

Revenue losses due to piracy = 0

People with illegal access to game before the release = countless

Revenue losses due to piracy = definitely substantial

He created this thread only because I pissed him off by saying that since you haven't even played the game, don't question my intelligence. He comes up as a sore loser and this thread is a living justification of that. All this high and mightiness about piracy came to his mind only when he was asked to shut up and he could not do anything about it other than fuming and shutting the hell up.

And the hypocrites posting their views about unreleased animated movies and posting youtube videos and links in Music Discussion thread need to stop that crap as well. I know a bunch of people already liking and repping the posts here are already a member of Facebook group which specifically indulges in activity which was banned recently on IVG. There are 161 members of that group and still counting. In fact, bunch of guys on twitter already confessed they pirate games. So yeah, stop with that first.

Still I agree all these FB, Twitter instances have nothing to do with IVG and words of the admins and mods is final and I totally respect that. At least the rule is now made clear and there is no confusion. Just that I want those repping Sam's or catalyst's posts and applauding this thread remain clear in their conscience and dont behave like that typical hypocritical Indian famous in the world for his stupid double standards. For me, even selling or buying a multiple times used game is equal to piracy. Because the amount of money in the pockets of Devs in both cases=0$. Only thing is that person buying the game thinks he spent "some" money instead of getting it free. Whether that money is 10% of game price, he wont care. Shows the double standards and nothing else.

So think before acting all almighty and self righteous.

All those liking and repping him are nothing but sad hypocrites or headless chickens who didn't have courage or common sense to create a topic about piracy/game impression discussion on their own.

Oh and for the umpteenth time, I don't give a rats a*s if you pirate a game. That's not why I started this thread.

Lol I don't want to be forgiven piracy is bad infact I never want anything to post on games before release date I did asked on game thread to mods and waited for 12 hours then posted under spoilers. l know people with hard earned money are spending on them and they have a right to bash a pirate but what I'm saying if you want to stop game piracy at one hand and continue movie tv piracy I just can't understand that. And ahh all those smoke and drink thread wtf are those. And I don't know how u are derving those numbers.

Sure, ban all the movie pirates who post impressions on the movie before it releases. Ban all the people who talk about TVshows before they air. :)

What you basically say it "oh since everyone jaywalks...its OK to trespass".

Welcome to the Internet son. People have opinions. Just because Ambar's doesn't agree with some pro-reviewer doesn't mean he has to STFU. And for the record, the combat is great at a few things and not so great at a few others (no hardlock, potential to abuse style rating etc).

I made that post in response to someone who said Ambar's post didn't have any negative views about the game. I don't know about you, but those look like negative opinions to me. Is he entitled to them? Sure he is.

Should he be expressing those opinions before the release date because he was able procure the game through illegal means? Well that's up to you guys to decide. I personally find that annoying when I see it happening in almost every AAA game thread. Contrary to what you may think, I did not start this thread because Ambar bashed DMC. His little pre-release reviews were a always a pet peeve of mine.

Edit: Afty said this issue was already brought up in some other thread. I never saw those posts. Had I seen them, I would've chimed in there and wouldn't have started this thread.
