IGN Preview from E3 Demo

Forget the Prince of Persia you once knew. The Prince of the last generation of game consoles lived in a static world. He went from one obstacle to the next and no matter how many times you played the quest, the layout remained the same. Once a saw blade, always a saw blade -- such was the life of a trap in previous Prince of Persias. The new Prince of Persia, built on the Assassin's Creed Anvil engine, is set in a dynamic, open world. The traps you encounter in an area in hour one will be completely different from the ones you come across in hour six. The world continually changes based on the choices you make, bringing considerable replayability to Ubisoft Montreal's upcoming title.

Awesome preview by IGN....Elika's charecter definitely has some potential.......Just wonder how many types of combos we can create just by using the different Spells and the sword alternatively...(although UBISOFT has said that there will be no sets of particular combos like the previous games)......All in all, good game coming up this Holidays.....:)

Well - Prince series has been a path breaker. The first trilogy was brilliant - awesome animation, nice cute story and definitely enjoyable puzzles. The second trilogy was one of the best platformers with its take on acrobatics mixed with a wicked plot hook, and the time manipulation thing is fantastic. So it's time for something new and Ubi delivers here.

A lot of the combat mechanism has been described in the IGN preview. I like the one on one combat scenario. I am going to branded a doomsdayer and I love the POP series - but does anyone get the feeling that is another Assassins Creed in the making? (Brilliant game which has some faults which led to it being panned by everyone).
