The Music Of The Witcher 3

MusicWitcher3-610.jpg

From Henry Hatsworth to Madden, Gene Rozenberg has had a wild ride through the gaming industry. After the recent closure of 38 Studios and the cancellation of that team's MMO, Project Copernicus, Rozenberg traveled to Poland to become the audio lead on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. While previous videos throughout our month of coverage have offered hints of the new game's soundtrack, this interview is a good opportunity to learn about the audio team behind the upcoming release.

Watch the video (at source) to learn who will be composing the game, the team's inspirations, and how the unfinished work of 38 Studios has helped inform the audio for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The first game had an amazing OST. I still listen to it. Compared to it the music in the second felt like generic fantasy fare, although still quite good.

I hope the third game has that european folk feel to it's music.

Areant you kinda contradicting yourself...one end you feel it was ordinary and even so it was a goty for you ..

Maybe the game was the best in that patch of time for him, so he stated it so.

And as some people have already pointed out the game has a very well thought out combat system so that itself is a merit.

This will be the last Witcher game with Geralt as the primary/playable character, its like Mass Effect with Shephard formula.

And hows it like mass effect formula exactly? <_<

Shepherd and geralt have zero simmilarity.

Trilogy, that is it.

Apart from that I think Geralt's shadows stand taller on me than Shepard's ever will.

You mean 9xxx series?

No, I meant the HD8*** series. The release has been pushed back and AMD has said it will spend some more time on the HD7*** series.

Let those release then we can think about HD9*** series as well.
