ALPHA17
Was that sarcasm. No. I was seriously laughing, I do not know how many would pick up this game on consoles here. And more over who would purchase the title second hand. It is not a hyped mainstream title in my books. Anyway, time would tell. For now CD PROJEKT RED can,
dullu
i guess all depends upon the system requirements (once published officially) and how the console versions look
ALPHA17
i guess all depends upon the system requirements (once published officially) and how the console versions look Well they have reached the 30fps mark on one / or both of the consoles. Even if the visual upgrade is not a huge step up from The Witcher 2 levels but with the open seamless world and everything running smooth on my mid-range RIG (at HIGH), I shall be more than content. Sach4life
One can get a good vibe of Witcher 1 from that video. It was awesome in terms of atmosphere. Can't wait to play this game. P.S - Would the retail copy provide a steam key?

LeonardoInventions
Interesting new interview with VG247 http://www.vg247.com/2014/08/20/witcher-3-four-tiers-of-witcher-armour-confirmed-but-will-you-be-able-to-trim-geralts-beard/ There's "going to be tiered Witcher-specific armour related to the four Witcher schools of Wolf, Cat, Griffin and Viper" “What you should be looking forward to is to assemble special Witcher sets of armour,” said Just. “They’re related to the Witcher schools, so the Wolf is not the only one. They come in four different levels, and you can only achieve the highest levels by crafting the previous ones. “That will hopefully engage the players into getting into the quests that’ll enable them to gather all of the parts of the set, get the bonus stats and achieve the final stage of the armour. The final stages of those special armours are really, really impressive in terms of artistic style.” “We are making, for example, Witcher armour, Witcher equipment, swords and different items,” said Just. “In terms of armour and swords, they’re multiplied in amount compared to The Witcher 2. There are several times more.” Because of the amount of minor quests and the amount of random encounters, you will find yourself using more consumables than in the previous games. So you probably will learn faster how to use the potions and how to brew them.” “You can be sure that the game and the difficulty settings will be scalable as much as possible,” said Just. “There won’t be a God mode in which you’re sure that you won’t die, but it will be easy enough in the easiest mode so that you will be able to enjoy the story itself, not being harassed by the monsters all the time.”

WhiteWolf
1080p isn't confirmed for even PS4 yet yup The Witcher 3 Probably Not 1080P On Consoles At Gamescom 2014, we couldn’t pass the opportunity to interview Jose Teixeira, CD Projekt RED‘s Visual Effects Artist, on The Witcher 3. We already gave you a little tease of our conversation, but here’s a few more interesting snippets while we’re transcribing everything. Obviously, we asked him about the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game, and while he told us they’re coming along nicely, he didn’t seem confident that they will be running at 1080P. Ideally, we’re pushing for 30 frames per second. The resolution, honestly, it depends; we’re working on it, we’re trying to get it as high as possible. If we can make it at 1080P, sure, but I don’t know if it’s going to make it. To be honest, I really don’t know. Probably not.
