dylanjosh
lol 16 dlcs. They're making it sound so big when it's small stuff like horse armour. This probably to keep people from selling the game too quickly

This probably to keep people from selling the game too quickly 2nd Set of DLCS include a quest. No where does it mention that all 16 DLC = Horse Armour. dylanjosh
Yep. My point was that it's pointless boasting about the number of DLC's when they're including really small stuff like "Beard and Hairstyles"
Heaven Angel
Marketing tricks. Remove simple content from game and give it back but announce it as DLC. 16 FREE DLC? OMG! BEST PUBLISHER EVERRRRRRRRRRRR!

ALPHA17
They all do it That was the point. EA did it with Sims IV. Warner with Shadow of Mordor. UBISOFT with Assassin's Creed (under the pre-order UNITE programme). And last I knew CD PROJEKT did it way back in 2008, with the Enhanced Edition for the original Witcher. Abdulah
Marketing tricks. Remove simple content from game and give it back but announce it as DLC. 16 FREE DLC? OMG! BEST PUBLISHER EVERRRRRRRRRRRR! Atleast better than Releasing trailers everyday to hype , like what Ubisoft and EA do . And FYI they have only announce 2 DLC of their 16 dlc pack which may means that they haven't started working on it . Heaven Angel
Oh, god. Easy guys or Zodak(?). I just said, it's a marketing trick. Where did the hate/trust part come from? All publisher do it to keep their audience busy & alive as it doesn't cost much. EA did the same with SIMS 4. They removed content from base game and decided to release it weekly/bi basis. They are also sharing lot of content on community center. Previously they used to charge for every damm thing. People can change. Atleast better than releasing trailers everyday to hype , like what Ubisoft and EA do . First, $$$. They both are biggest publisher and can spend millions on advertising. Small publishers can't and hence they give away stuff to keep the hype alive. Second, EA never released trailers everyday for Dragon Age: Inquisition or for other games. Neither they have announced so many editions. Gameplay Trailer - The Inquisitor - 6 months ago.Official Trailer -- Lead Them or Fall - 5 months ago.Official Trailer -- Stand Together - 4 months ago.Official Trailer – The Enemy of Thedas - 2 months ago.Official Trailer – The Hero of Thedas - 3 week ago.Launch in less than 2 weeks:Official Trailer – Vivienne - 3 days ago.Official Trailer – The Iron Bull - 1 hour ago.All other videos are gameplay and 99% of them are from Twitch stream and other streamers. If you think that's bad, then I've nothing to say. Can't speak for Ubilol.
dylanjosh
lol cd projekt defense force Atleast better than Releasing trailers everyday to hype , like what Ubisoft and EA do . And FYI they have only announce 2 DLC of their 16 dlc pack which may means that they haven't started working on it . So according to you, releasing too many trailers is worse than cutting out content from the game and giving it to you later? You can't be serious. Sach4life
^ I was about tobsay the same thing. I am not defending anyone, i just want to know how releasing too many trailers and videos is a bad thing? It may lead to too much content before release and can be termed as bad marketing, but how is that unethical or bad?
