@ALPHA17 Public want to know --

Can a noob

(who want to be a bad a*s and kill everyone with a stroke after max leveling)

enjoy a game like Witcher 3 ?

Not going to happen man, the game's combat is more like Batman. You can screw it and be brought low by even the most useless of goons.

Man bloody good!! Funny vampires and all

Geralt had a vampire friend and it seems he might be featured in the game.

Can we master all skills in this game

Or we have to build different play throughs to acquire different skills like Souls/BloodBorne?!?

Kinda not liking that aspect of that franchise

I mean can we master sword/magic/items in a single build easily

Or we have to chose like in mass effect

No, you cannot unlock the complete skill tree layout.

You'll have to pick and choose which tree you want to build more, you can have a strong melee build with a core Sign competency towards complementing your sword-play. Or perhaps you like to use bombs and oils more, so you invest in alchemy and combine it with basic sword skills.

Maybe you hate everything above and want to focus purely on magic, so you invest only in the Sign tree picking only the most rudimentary skills in the other trees. Do not know if there will be fixed level ceiling in this game though, which was present in the past two titles.

Since its purely open world this time, we should be able to grind and max out all the skills if we want.

Yes that would be awesome

Not going to happen, they will restrict it. Not clear how but that is set in stone,

  • There are many different types of additional weapons that you can pick up. What’s interesting, you need a higher level in order to be able to use it
  • Weapons (including swords) will not last forever and can end up dull if used too much, which will result in minimal damage. You need to regularly pay a visit to a craftsman to maintain it
  • The user interface is highly customizable. Several options are available to enable and disable modules, including the mini map and all kinds of notifications.
  • All graphic settings are present in the game menu
  • Enemies will parry crossbow bolts with a shield
  • The Skill tree is really massive. There are 5 trees (according to Witcher site there was 4, so I’m not sure who is closer to the truth), each has 5 tiers and each tier contains 5 skills. Every skill has 3 or 4 levels to unlock. Even though later Geralt will gain more skill points per level, it’s still will be impossible to unlock all of it
  • After unlocking the skill it needs to be activated. You do that by putting it into separate tree, which contains a limited number of slots (it will increase with character’s progress). Activated skills affect Geralt’s fighting style. Activating set of skills from the same category will increase it’s effects. It adds another layer to preparations and tactical planning, as you have to choose an appropriate set of active skills depending on what kind of opponent you are going to face (for example, if you going to fight with heavily armored knights, you can activate Igni upgrade that allows you to melt armors)
  • There are four slots for mutagens, which also affects your abilities
  • Temporary companions are quite helpful and even use different fighting styles. For example, one woman that accompany them waited for a right moment while the enemies were focused on Geralt to backstab them for massive damage
  • The Game is pretty difficult, as you can die even on easy if you’re not careful
  • Details about the dynamic weather include different phase day / night, with densities varying stages or storms, clouds, snow, rain and fog.
  • The artificial intelligence of the enemies is very good.

    • Wolves and bandits spread to limit the escape routes of Geralt. Should eliminate their respective leaders, were desorganizarán completely or act carelessly.
    • An enemy can be used as living bait to give to the group a chance to corner Geralt.
    • If we put a trap or use the Yrden in front of the enemy, will try to avoid them.
  • NPC’s models are very diverse and interior of every hut looks different, so there will be no feeling of deja vu.

Well obviously not all

But a good mix of all key abilities to make the gameplay more varied & vibrant

Bloodborne just requires you to sacrifice a lot of key abilities & items to focus on your primary likings

That is what I said the first time you asked.

You have flexibility on how you kit yourself out, this does not extend to opening up 90% of the skill tree.

These games cannot allow you to open your complete skill-set. It shall destroy any semblance of balance and late game curve.

I just don't want that kinda thing here

What do you mean sacrifice? you can get all items in BB in single save file. to use them you'l need to have certain stats, but you can always max level up. There are just no restrictions in the game, how much you get out of it depends on you.

Games like witcher, dragon age or any other D&D rpgs have some restrictions because they use classes, skill trees etc. Souls just doesnt have any restrictions.

It wasn't the case with previous game and i hope it remains same for Witcher 3 . Or it will be just like Skyrim where after 50 hour , you become Rajnikanth . It was the plus point of the game , making it more challenging .

There would be a change in the demographics.

You would still find monsters / bandits amongst ruins, they will have tweaked the dynamics so that once you become a level 60 that same level 10 bandit does not try to screw your day all on his own.
