maxus
All part s haven't arrived yet,but this is what it will be when it is built I5 4690k W/ CM Hyper 212 so hopefully can OC To 4.3 if need be Corsair Vengeance 8gb DDR3 ASUS Z97 PRO GAMER MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G(can overclock) Plextor m5 128GB SSD + WD 1TB Blue Seasonic M12II 620W Corsair 400r will be playing @ 1080p,basically i want the best graphical fidelity while keeping fps around 60 with a 980 u would hav easily gone to very high settings @ 1080p , and it is worth the extra price if u want eyecandy... and as u are spending so much already. There will be roughly 20% performance gain over 30-35% price gain if you go for 980 though.. but u dont hav to overclock your 970 to get almost base 980 output... but i think game will look great at high with around 40 fps in this rig.and y not 16gig ram?? all in all a great build. ALPHA17
^ Expensive. The upgrade you have suggested will toss up the price by at-least ~25000/- if not more.
Heaven Angel
No it's not worth the price. The price difference between 970 vs. 980 is VERY high ($550 vs $350) and the benefits are very low. I would rather add $150 more and get second GTX 970. In terms of gaming, both 970 and 980 will run the game on max settings. Heck, even GTX 780 will do, just not a good frame-rate. The difference will be just single digit though. And, congrats, PhantomShade. __ Edited April 22, 2015 by Heaven Angel

Bhai Budget naam ki cheez bhi hoti hai Anyway even if i could i cant get gtx 980 now because Gtx 970 has already reached me No it's not worth the price. Gautam
Also, from what they've shown, the game has some incredible NPC character models. Hope they're diverse throughout the game and not a copy/paste job using a handful of them.
PhantomShade
W3 is such a game that can never hit 60 on consoles I doubt it'll maintain stable 30 fps Some fool on YT thinks this is High settings running on xbone Edited April 22, 2015 by PhantomShade

Hope they're diverse throughout the game and not a copy/paste job using a handful of them. They can circumvent the issue by alternating the various assets and finer details of the NPC. Getting 100% different look for each NPC would be time consuming (and resource intensive) though the attention to detail would be quite something else. W3 is such a game that can never hit 60 on consoles I doubt it'll maintain stable 30 fps They managed to get The Witcher 2 running at 30fps stable for the most part on a XBox 360, should be able to get the same magic here too. KnackChap
lol. kotaku already on it. Today, the Xbox YouTube channel released a rad new video for the upcoming role-playing game The Witcher 3. There’s just one problem: it’s not actually running on an Xbox. Whoops. Yep, despite that XBOX logo stamped on the bottom right corner of the above video, this is actually footage from the (presumably better-looking) PC version of the game. The easiest way to tell? You can run the YouTube video at 60 frames-per-second; the developers of The Witcher 3 (out May 19 for PS4/XB1/PC) have specified that the console versions are actually locked at 30 FPS. A representative for developer CD Projekt Red confirmed to Kotaku this morning that this footage is indeed from the PC version. \ http://kotaku.com/xbox-youtube-channel-advertises-the-witcher-3-with-pc-f-1699455645
