What is the sit-rep on your graphic card Razpor?

Tried getting the moneyback from zotac for the card, but they kept on insisting that the the newer zotac amp extreme core edition(lol yeah ) had this issue solved.

So i gave it a try ,without expecting much.

And well its is lot quieter than the cards i had before, still not dead silent like 670,bu i guess its as good as it gets with 970.

Plus it runs cool for a card with stock clocks at over 1400 mhz,(never seen it cross 69 c)

So just kept it,solid built card.

Still wont recommend it as the price is on higher side.

Any proof you got for that mate?

Can you blame them though? At end of the day, money matters the most (YEAH).

On console game sells well -> an open opportunity. A gold mine. Would you not take your shot at it, even if it means disappointing your family (PC base) for the future and for the company?

More copies sold = more money; more money = more games in the future from same company. It's not like the quality of the game has dropped. Story, gameplay, lore and everything remains the same.

Next time, don't get hyped at reveal trailers and gameplays. Don't pre-order. Gaming is business, and everyone will do whatever it takes to sell their game. The sooner you get it, the lesser you'll be disappointed.

Plus, mods. Why even worry so much about graphics? Vanilla SKYRIM looks shite. But with mods, it's easily one of the best looking game out there. Day and night difference.

(^why is no one excited about mods?)

PS: These guys aren't running away. If game doesn't perform well even after patches, they will release enhanced edition for FREE down the line. Less than ~30 hours, I don't know what else to think.

^ Cheers, mate.

Hope this card does well.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! If it is an insider leaking information, depends man.

The statement of current generation of GPU's running that stuff shown to us in 2013 is very selective and should not be taken at face value. If he said something like a particular model or above would have leant it much more value.

Hardware cycles are very hard to predict (especially GPU's), they can be announced and taped out but even after that sometimes there are inordinate delays before the release of the hardware itself.

I think only Intel has achieved a modicum of reliable releases and even now as they mobilise to FinFET node we are hitting the limit of silicon's practical use a semi-conductor.

Also, a quick glance at STEAM survey says ~45% of STEAM users are using the HD4000 series iGP as a primary driver. I do not think this game will run on low with that.

Plus, mods. Why even worry so much about graphics? Vanilla SKYRIM looks shite. But with mods, it's easily one of the best looking game out there. Day and night difference.

Yeah! Keep Calm and get the game is the best advice I can give anyone on any platform right now.

Seen enough ups and downs on this thread that I cannot really trust myself to believe anything that I do not hold / see.

People should have already learnt by now that "What you see is not what you get"..So many examples in the past..Prominent being Watch Dogs but even after downgrade the game did not look bad in any way and neither does this game..We should be more concerned about game-breaking bugs, FPS drops, memory leaks etc..which can actually ruin our gaming experience.

Source is a verified imposter.

But unfortunately some of it that he says has some truth while other things like missing features are actually in game, but toned down.

The bigger complaint against Unity and Watch_Dogs was the utter lack of playability on a PC that was moderately old or sporting AMD hardware.

Watch Dogs didn't run well even with all the "optimization" I believe.. Video games are a visual medium so its hard not to get excited when you see such in-game rendered videos. + W2 looks amazing. Unfortunately it has a become a common practice now.. But CDPR has always tried to be more honest and upfront about its principles. SO I just didn't expect this from them

the only thing I blame them for is the repeated statement of no downgrade blah blah.. In the end the pc version has turned into PS4 version + hairworks. So I guess on AMD it is just ps4 at 60 fps. + its less than 2 days to go and still no word on the pc version review

^ If the game works on AMD hardware.

I do not think any review codes have gone out, yet. We will be going on a wing and prayer with this one.

haha true.. imo even they won't know how it runs after the patch since I don't think the post patch build with go through QA... We will have to do the QA for them -_-

Don't really care about the graphics after a point, in open world games which are played over dozens of hours there is a point where you stop noticing details. Good frame-rates and stick to the details of what I have seen in the recent videos and I will be happy. But I can understand why others would complain...

But i hope they stuck to the narrative complexity they promised, I hope that the world-politics and the characters that are in it are as interesting as they promised from day one and as interesting as W2.

Plot twists, emotional stakes and a general feel of gulping down a giant fantasy novel are what I want after playing the alienating and depressing Bloodborne (great game btw).

It's not like consoles alone bring the low rig demographics

The PC platform has gallons of "peasants"

They want ppl from maximum demographics to be able to run the game

As CC said

More than consoles(at the start of a gen.) it's the mid range PC's that hold a game back

We are not at that stage in this generation sadly.

Just watch story & gather info on YouTube

It's not like a mind f**k like AC or MGS

It's just a mythical lore similar to Middle Earth lore

I'm already fully aware up till the events of 1

Will try a hand on 2 before 3

If not getting feels will watch story on YouTube

These games are huge & dated so no point playing all of them from back

Unless your time allows

Kinda disagree..It has a fairly complex story line...For any1 who is interested in fantasy, following the history and lore with the help of side quests and main story is very satisfying in Witcher 2..At least it was for me..

The side quest are very engaging as well as powerful..In comparison, I've never cared about side quests of AC series..They became very repetitive. And we all know that the main story is sh!t now :P
