ALPHA17
^ Do not worry. You will be getting your XP (either from side-quest or main-quest) provided for by the game depending on your level while completing them. You will reach LvL 30 by end-game easy. Do not worry about XP farming in this game.
joken732a
Random Encounters, for The Witcher 3 As if there weren't enough monsters haunting the landscape in The Witcher 3, you can add a few more using the sliders that come with this mod. Up the chances you'll run into flying or ground-based creatures, mobs of monsters, and even human opponents. You can tailor the random monster list so it spawns your favorites, and you can tweak their level of difficulty as well. You can find it here at Nexus Mods. Ethan_Hunt
btw I found gargoyles to be one tough SOB esp in packs .. what did u guys think ? At lower levels and with a weak gear, yes. I remember getting one hit by the jump drop attack during my usual '?' clearing sessions. Tried everything I had, but the attacks were so powerful, I just wouldn't stand a chance. The worst part is that, being an elemanta-esque enemy, it was impervious to Igni. I even had massive trouble beating the Fiend, which again would one-hit me. I think these 2 really did a number of me even more than any bosses in the game (not DLC ones).

If so, then yrden is effective over there than igni and you could use elementa oil

I don't have any problems now, considering I'm level 46 with full Witcher gear and their hits barely dent me HP (). My initial build was dedicated to Igni and Quen a lot and hadn't invested much points in Yrden. So had a tough time with these elementas. ALPHA17
I remember Aard used to really good against them in The Witcher 2.
Ne0
^^ aard is kinda op against human enemies.... Especially the one with crowd control.... I've been leveling up on igni and aard equally ! On level 22 now..... Got some 1000 xp for a single side quest - possession, xp is so imbalanced in this game lol .... It was a damn interesting quest though !! Edited October 28, 2015 by Ne0
ALPHA17
^ XP is not imbalanced, it is controlled depending on your relative level vis-á-vis the quest you do. I use the Aard alternate ability to hit out in a 360° radius, super useful for crowd management and even breaks certain monsters cloaking ability. So you do not need to XP farm to reach a certain standing. Killing monsters individually for farming is also a no go (unless they are like mini-bosses). Agree that you don't need to farm for xp, but if I'm getting 1000xp at level 21 for a level 17 quest.... isn't it imbalance ? I'm in that second level aard, need still 8 more points to unlock the next branch, guess that's where the 360 aard is present ? BTW any map for finding places of power in skellige ?
