The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is to offer the best graphics quality according to the chief programmer Balázs Török and that too on the new Playstation 4 and Xbox One. For the resolution of the game on the consoles Török could not say anything yet, but you goals from 30 frames per second. In the game itself is a destructible environment play an important role, but they wanted to install anything, just to have some technique in the game. Therefore you see on the situations in which players interact with objects in the environment.

Currently we use it for destruction and fabric simulations APEX, which is based on Nvidia's PhysX. Although they were working themselves much on the optimization, one am keeping in contact with Nvidia to achieve the best performance. There were many factors that determine which effects can be running on the PC without performance issues and the graphics chip is of course the most important thing. As for the graphics interface Mantle of AMD, Török however has some doubts.

"If Mantle is used by other GPU manufacturers, it could be an alternative to DirectX in games. Till then we can not be sure that Mantle may be well adapted to different architectures and if not, then it is difficult, various keep source code for various graphics chips currently. Currently it is hard to say about something definitive. " In his opinion, there are also a few OpenGL extensions that can achieve similar results and many games would be developed for the desktop and mobile devices. Therefore, OpenGL ES is the obvious choice for the mobile area and OpenGL for the desktop.

Background to The Witcher 3The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in 2014 for PC and "all high-end platforms" appear, so presumably the Xbox One and Playstation 4 are meant. The role play should be clearly distinguishable from the previous titles in the series and not forcing the player to constantly follow the story. The game world is supposed to be so great that the travel time is from one end to the other about 40 minutes. The game world of Skyrim to be exceeded by 20 percent. yeah on a console..

Then start with The Witcher 2 on the XBox 360. Or try to read all the books and Wikia on the older titles.

It has decent combat, not exactly Hack n' Slash but a good mix of tactical approach and good old button mashing.

dont have a 360 :P

got ps4 last week..!! will check videos on youtube thanks..! :)

Do you ONLY like hack and slash? :/ I'm pretty fussy about combat in RPG's and I thought it was pretty good. Not as smooth as Dragons Dogma, but way way better than Bethesda's games.

no no not just hack n slash.. i liked rdr infamous play shooters aswell.. not really into rpgs actually...

@Greatness Awaits, Honestly, read the books rather than watching walkthroughs.

Also, very important, go through The Witcher Wiki.

You use salves and potions before fights and bombs and blade oils in the middle of a battle to affect its outcome.

The Witchers also have access to basic 'sign' magic which can be used to set traps, hoodwink the enemy, raise a protective ward or directly incapacitate the enemy.

Any suggestions as to how i should approach this game?

  • Start on MEDIUM difficulty
  • Don't mind the combat, it is not the best system but could have been worse
  • Read every book / tome you find and explore every place you are dropped in, you might encounter monsters but fret not
  • Play the game without bothering about the graphics

Rest is dependent on you.

You mean Witcher 2 EE? .

No the first part. That is the way to do it.
