I will say this only once, they made the XBox 360 look and function Even when it was on its last legs, they put effort, redid the lighting system and made sure the frame-rate was as close to 30fps. Gave out free patches and up-dates. Because if you did, you would have read The Witcher saga and realised how much better than LoTR. Do you see me calling RaD a shitty developer for not having a full 1920 x1080 screen-space or that Sucker Punch is sad to put out inFAMOUS Second Son with a 30fps lock instead of 60fps because Guerilla Games and UBISOFT are obviously capable of running games on 60fps with the full 1080p resolution. Every developer has its vision for a project and depending on its experience and priorities will come up with the best solution for its production. Dude, did you saw Me saying that developers are being such a lazy a*s? or Sucker Punch is so god-like coz they're giving us full res games? They itself said (or i read) in some article that they're going use almost full potential of new gen consoles and give us maximum as they could still some power left but giving us 900p 30 fps is a bit questionable that's it. They are never compared to great books like song of ice and fire, lotr, wheels of time, malzan so on. I don't even understand 1080p hype *facepalm* Just high rrs doesn't mean more clarity, watch a Hindi film 1080p and a Hollywood film 720p, obviously the later will look prettier. Same goes for a game, witcher 3 on 900p will be prettier than SS on 1080p. Making an actual 3D environment models at 1080p for witcher will be a lot difficult as there will be lots of trees, grass and such, while SS mostly will have city structures.
