LeonardoInventions Posted June 8, 2014 Report Share Posted June 8, 2014 (edited) Lol that's not really what I'm bothered with I played ME 1&2 on 360 but 3 on PS3 Didn't really miss much of anything I am 100% sure that CD red will make the game knowing the fact that a larger part of the audience would be new Cos Witcher wasn't released on consoles as popularly as it is releasing now It's just that tell a bit of back story first & we are good to go LOL how can you tell you didn't missed much if you didn't imported a ME1+2 save in the first place. ME3 was a lot more grim if you hadn't played with an imported save. And well I don't think CDPR will go the Bioware's way with ME3, the story starts here (or along those lines), atleast I hope they don't as that MO only managed to dumb down ME3 a lot, especially the opening. Playing the original Witcher with enhanced graphics would be great apart from fresh blood to the series. But doing a mini-series would be useless, I have spent ~200 Hours plus in the original and still not seen every ending possible, the game has too many variables in place for that. On a serious note, both Witcher 1 and 2 are perfectly playable even now. The combat and traversal in Witcher 1 is kinda weird but that's more of a limitation of the Aurora engine they used, however the story, side quests, music and general atmosphere is superior to the second. I don't think there will be cards but yes, those unscripted err... 'encounters' for the lack of a better word should still be intrinsic to the story. I believe they gave a preview in the trailer. Although I doubt cards will be involved this time around. I remember in the lead up to W2 some one from CDPR gave this reasoning The sexual encounters are still in, but the cards are gone since it made the experience feel less romantic and personal and more "gotta catch em all".
