dylanjosh
There are more questions now. Like did Upper Aedirn survive the vacuous and tumultuous months following the de-solution of Temeria and Nilfgaard's invasion. And seeing what CD PROJEKT RED has teased us with I cannot wait for their answers. -- Scoia'tel minion Yeah? I felt the same before AC3 and ME3. Will this be a trilogy of bad endings? ALPHA17
I think we might be putting in too many spoilers in here..:... Naah! Most people on thread have played the game. If they have not well too bad for them. Yeah? I felt the same before AC3 and ME3. Will this be a trilogy of bad endings? I have full confidence in the blokes working at CD PROJEKT RED. They are not after the casual crowd, the fans are at the top. -- Scoia'tel minion Edited February 24, 2013 by ALPHA17

ALPHA17
Can someone answer is witcher 3 ...a prequel?? No a sequel. The final act in this trilogy. They are gonna put the franchise to dry for some time after that. Not going to milk it, after that it is going to be CYBERPUNK 2077. -- Scoia'tel minion Edited February 24, 2013 by ALPHA17
ALPHA17
Seems like a sequel IMHO. Might end up being both maybe? Just a sequel, which will tie in loose ends and the book characters that have been mentioned but not revealed. And they are not intent on working on this series for some time after this game. -- Scoia'tel minion

ALPHA17
Wouldn't put a playable flashback or two past them. Or anyone else for that matter. You know, to ensure the narrative makes sense to EVERYONE. Maybe as an expansion / DLC after the main game is out. Till now most of the characters have been reasonably explored and fleshed out. Only three (tops five) new characters (from the books) should appear in this title. -- Scoia'tel minion
meaNmachine
Naah! Most people on thread have played the game. If they have not well too bad for them. Please don't spoil it. Use spoiler tag for story related videos and discussions. I had Witcher 2 EE 360 version but didn't play it coz i wanted to play from the first game. Will soon join the Master Race and play it they way it's meant to be played.
VelivolusDas
So, for someone who hasn't played the first two games, would playing the third one directly make any sense?
dylanjosh
I'm also waiting to play it on PC properly. Same with FONV and Skyrim.
Tyler
So, for someone who hasn't played the first two games, would playing the third one directly make any sense? The Wild Hunt (which is apparently the main antagonist this time) was introduced in the first game. Apart from that the first should be skippable. But you should definitely play the second as I'm sure there will be references to events and characters. The second game ends on a slight cliffhanger from where the third would probably pick up. Razpor
So, for someone who hasn't played the first two games, would playing the third one directly make any sense? Atleast play the 2 nd one....its pretty good...
VelivolusDas
Is the second one already available on the PS3/will be available on PS4? Sorry, I'm an infant when it comes to RPGs....
Razpor
Witcher 2 is only available on xbox 360 among the consoles, and its most probably never coming to ps3,may come to ps4 as some sort of collection buts thats speculative. dante77
Play it on pc. Its a game you shouldn't miss. In fact you shouldn't miss any RPGs with good combat like witcher and kingdom of amalur. PS: its a very damanding game. More than any of the crisis game. ALPHA17
Please don't spoil it. Use spoiler tag for story related videos and discussions. I had Witcher 2 EE 360 version but didn't play it coz i wanted to play from the first game. Will soon join the Master Race and play it they way it's meant to be played. Accepted and will be complied to. Sire. Honestly you should have started on your XBox if you have a copy of the game, the game content (apart from the graphics) are all the same, no hand-holding, no dumbing down. And trust me after seeing the demo's of Assassin's of Kings and Wild Hunt you might have issues with the graphical fidelity of the original. So, for someone who hasn't played the first two games, would playing the third one directly make any sense? Play the second one at-least, the characters and story crystallizes in the same but some important characters mentioned in the first game are not shown but might be revealed in the final title. So you might want to play the entire sequence at a later date. ^Is kingdoms of amalur any better on pc...cause i have played it on xbox and dont wana waste money if its the same thing??? Doubt so, even for PC the graphic's are not revolutionary. Grab The Witcher 2 when it is on STEAM sale OR GoG.com. --Scoia'tel minion Edited February 25, 2013 by ALPHA17
