Become Part of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag History

Today, Ubisoft announced a unique interactive experience for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag fans, giving them the chance to be a part of Assassin’s Creed history.

137 lucky fans will be immortalised in an Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag 18th century style oil-painting, depicting an intense and epic Naval Battle on the high seas. Brought to life by the masters at Beaux-Arts school in Paris, the 2.3 x 4.5 meter painting will be displayed online and in the Musée de la Marine gallery in France, from November 4 to December 3.

To becoming part of Assassin’s Creed history, simply send images of yourself expressing as much emotion and passion as you can muster. Share your entry via social media, watch the artwork progress over time, and ‘like’ your favourite faces. Members of The Watch, the premium service for the Assassin’s Creed community, will have early access to the competition.

For more information, visit assassinscreed.com/defyhistory and immerse yourself in the Pirate life to win your place in history!

Underappreciated Pick of the Show – EGM

Translation - Ubi paid us to give this an award but if we gave it anything legit we would be torn to shreds by gamers.

Honestly this game has to redeem the series, ubi better focus more on awards after the game release than fancy trailer awards

Can't see how it would. This feels to ACIII what Brotherhood was to ACII, with the difference being that the absolutely unexpected turn of events at the end of II generated a brilliant momentum for brotherhood. Besides the fact that they peaked gameplay mechanics and the story telling with it.

With this one you have the disgust of almost everyone at the ending of III and the collective tiredness towards the franchise. Not to mention story being stretched wayyyyyyyyyyyy beyond the breaking point.

Since I'm not really following this time round maybe I'm wrong about the 'same old same old' theory so we'll see. Have almost zero expectaions though that the level of the first 3 games can be touched again.

I've lost most of my faith in this franchise after AC3, and will lose all if this performs how I expect it too. I think that they'd be better off killing everyone and starting from scratch again.
