They should have made it optional. AC Unity won't have naval crap. Last gen game AC Rogue will have it. @aron, in future missions, there are no fast travel options near mission start. You will experience it once you reach it. One example is when we take down that huge a*s pirate ship. The next story mission is miles away with no fast travel point nearby. I said f**k it and stopped playing. I know you can't fast travel much near the end but the distances really aren't that long.Most of the stuff happens in the south. I guess it all comes down to individual preferences.A lot of folks,including me,really liked the naval sections of the game.A lot didn't. Doesnt feel like an AC game.. but for me thats actually a positive.. even just sailing from one marker to another feels really really good.. so much stuff to do as well.. naval combat feels fking epic.. i like this land + sea combo.. Easily the best game in the series imo, much better than ac2 so far(I completed ac2 once on both 360 and ps3).. ezio > all though Just can't get enough of the naval stuff.. Plundering ships feels so so good.. Also the story missions just keep on getting better and better.. I try to 100% every mission on the first playthrough, aur mazaa aata hai. And installed that companion app yesterday lol its really good. Best way to make money all day. Unlocked a bunch of long 6hr missions in Kenways fleet, I'm making 12k ever 3hrs or so. I never take my tab out of the house sending ships through the phone would have made so much more sense.. Feels stupid coz I love the economic aspect of this game.. Quite balanced imo. I don't play mobile games, have only played 2-3 really popular ones (always deleted them within 5-10 minutes due to boredom) Kenway's Fleet is fking awesome, makes the whole experience of the game even more immersive and satisfying wish I could help psn friend ships through the app as well though, it only lets you speed up friend ships if you are accessing the fleet in game. Anyway just reached sequence 11. The mission variety and pacing has been amazing so far. They kinda overdid the tailing bit though (not complaining since I enjoy the tailing bits ) Story is nowhere near ac2's level still I kinda care for the main characters unlike ac3. Thank god the final modern mission was like 2 mins long.. Fking hate the modern day sh*t.. Faltu ka timewaste.. Max Pain Posted August 25, 2014 Report Share Posted August 25, 2014 I felt the sea travelling to be pretty boring. But, it didn't kill my interested towards Rogue. (Point to be noted). I am much more excited to play Rogue than I was about Black Flag back then. (Didn't know it was going to suck, though!).
