Big Boss
That PSU is causing the problem and hence you are facing issues again and again. Most probably the RAMs are damaged OR the RAM slots are damaged.
ALPHA17
its also 6 years old a quantum psu dont know the its power what u say whats the problem Your SMPS is killing your PC once component at a time. Replace it immediately with a Corsair CX v2430W OR Seasonic S12II 520W. About the RAM try to use a diagnostic like Memtest 86+ to find out if the memory is the real culprit. And seriously Zebronics motherboard! =|

You will be surprised to know that Moser Baer is also into this. All these are cheap Chinese knock-offs rebadged with the companies name / logo and I will not trust them to work and moreover no after-sale support. Agreed if only they can actually put some effort into after sales and making better products they ll do everyone good, but you cant expect everyone to do a Micromax, what these companies are doing is just trying to cash in without knowing what the hell are they selling... . hybeh
I've faced such an issue in the past. In most cases it is the PSU causing problems.

Big Boss
There is nothing to upgrade. Just buy a new PC after exams.

As far as Micromax is considered even it has negligible after sales support for all its handsets, hardware used is borderline minimum for getting the job done. Teh Lulz! but are u all sure is psu the prob and also i maybe upgradingg my full pc after exams in april so should i wait for it or what ^^ Best then you don't do anything to the current PC. Please scale down operations before it kills any more components.

Where are you based? Next, here is what I recommend -- Intel Core i5 3550 ~12000/- GIGABYTE-B75M-D3H ~4500/- Corsair Vengeance 4GB x2 1600MHz ~3400/- (avoid getting just one RAM stick of high value, with multiple modules you get the dual-channel advantage) More on the same here --> Multi-channel memory architecture @Wikipedia Sapphire HD7850 1GB ~13000/- OR ZOTAC! GTX650Ti 1GB ~11000/- Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB ~4000/- Seasonic S12II 520W ~4000/- (if you are in Bombay) NZXT Gamma ~2500/- (if you are in Bombay) Hope this helps, Cheerio! ALPHA17
i live in New Dhi so what about power supply except hdd and cpu cabinet everything can be brought from flipkart You are from Delhi, then why don't you head towards Nehru Place? For SMPS, you will have to consider Antec SMPS OR get the Seasonic S12II from flipkart. Also the cabinet will have to be swapped in favour of these -- Cooler Master eLite 430 Black ~2700/- BitFenix Outlaw APAC edition ~3500/- (talk to Computer Empire, Nehru Place for its latest price Yes but once more depending on the situation, the pricing will be higher online than local options. Shops I recommend in Nehru Place -- Computer Empire SMC International Cost-2-Cost (although there are reports of pricing issues and damaged components, tread carefully) Hope this helps, Cheerio!
