rAgHaV Posted October 14, 2014 Report Share Posted October 14, 2014 ^^ 2nd playthrough took like one 4hour sitting skipped all extra stuff as my first playthrough was a 100% completion one. 100% on the first playthrough took around 10hrs I guess, no way to check as this game has no in game stats. It's kinda like the difference between gta4 and the lost be damned. Dunno how to describe it exactly. Yeah he is right It was the first thing I noticed as well First Light is f**ked up visually compared to Second Son Anyway I think it's due to the in game weather effects. The game starts in a really stormy/ rainy weather and I've completed 3 missions so far but the weather hasn't changed. I guess the whole game is set in night rain weather. But apart from the weather thing as well kuch toh gadbad hai. ___________ Still, game is awesome so far. Especially the collectable/race and side stuff. If you really liked Delsin's neon powers then this game is a blast. I haven't unlocked all of fetch abilities yet but even now she is way more badass than delsin neon. I really liked Delsin video powers in the main game though. It was my most used power set on the expert playthrough as well. They should really make Infamous Third Nerd and let us play as Eugene. That grainy effect problem still exists Bc can't find anything about it online, atleast that tlad gta4 grainy effect was popular and had a fix. Still don't know if it's just me or not. Game looks worse than iss only cuz of this stupid effect. And funny thing is that this effect goes away completely in the arena section bits of the game. Anyway gameplay is awesome, on par with iss. What an ending really liked the story, voice acting was even better than the main game And it wasn't as short as I was expecting it to be. Took 5hrs to finish the story and all the free roam stuff. Arena is awesome fun as well, this arena/challenges thing should have been there in the main game as well. Btw That grainy effect is actually the flashback effect since the whole game is basically told in a huge flashback. That is why all the arena cutscenes and gameplay dont have that effect and feel as sharp as second son. Even the ending looked as good as second son of not better. Really bad design choice imo. Have done 36 challenges so far so some are left though. will have to grind a bit in some arena and complete the challenges there Btw That grainy effect is actually the flashback effect http://i.imgur.com/MmZfSIH.jpg[/im] has to be the most retarded effect ever. I bet no one actually got that flashback bit. Even I realised this only after reaching the end when I saw the game is running just fine even in outdoors and looks sharp as f**k. Max Pain Posted November 1, 2014 Report Share Posted November 1, 2014 Been playing it from last few days. Game is absolutely gorgeous! Lighting, particles, weather, night mode...everything's cool! Story too...but the combat annoys you sometimes! Sure it does look magnificent during night time, especially with those neon powers and sometimes it works very well and seems very refreshing, but it also feels very unfinished! And AI has no variety in it! All the enemies act the same! Nonetheless....I'm enjoying it. Best looking open-world game! Very refreshing...!
