ALPHA17
so any specific reason why is this happening and can anything be done to stop it plz help i am really scared and tensed abt my rig....really want play new game Is this only with STEAM or any other heavy application ends up crashing the system? here are my pc specs by the way majjor 750 watts psu Okay what the <bleep> is this? Majjor, I have not even heard of the brand of SMPS. Change it immediately before you end up loosing the entire set-up to a cheap SMPS. I think I haven't stressed it enough that a poor SMPS can do this to your PC.

AK77
Maybe try to play the game with your on board gfx card and see whether it crashes or not.

If they were incompatible the PC would not have even booted in the first place. I still suspect the SMPS, how much did it cost you? Okay, have you tried any other application's / games that are not bound to STEAM? If not please do so. Install Memory Test 86+ to check the RAM for errors. Maybe try to play the game with your on board gfx card and see whether it crashes or not. No point, the graphic card is the most power hungry component in his RIG and if you eliminate that, most of the load is off and the PC should function fine. Big Boss
my good family frnd who is the dealer for this stuff he suggested me this company he said he knew this company quite well and evrything is good so no need to worry abt it it happens only He has no idea wtf he is talking about. Mostly dealers dont know crap. So get rid of that stupid SMPS else your system will go kaput. As soon as you are starting the game, the GPU is trying to draw more power, and that stupid PSU is failing to provide that and hence you are getting reboots. Google search for Majjor 750W gives nothing. That is some cheap Chinese brand. Get rid of it quickly and buy a good standard PSU. Your whole system is at risk. Big Boss
Where did I use foul language? Also can you post a pic of the PSU? There are power ratings on the PSU, see if they can be seen and taken picture of? They look like these:
ALPHA17
but plz bhaiya don't use foul language ....i am still a kid plz No one is using foul language here. Although I am talking rather tersely to you because personally I had reiterated several times on various thread(s) (where you posted, earlier) that you have to replace the SMPS for a decent Corsair / Seasonic piece. It is for your long term good. And as Ambar Sire has posted a shot of the SMPS will be most helpful. It is a Chinese knock-off for sure.
harjas
woh wtf mere ko accha nahi laga isliye ....and as i have always said noob hu bhot bara tho are the ratings written on the box of the psu or on the psu back/front ?

harjas
and abt that hard drive test when i go into overview it shows - The hard disk status is PERFECT. Problematic or weak sectors were not found and there are no spin up or data transfer errors. No actions needed.

ALPHA17
but if something happens to rig due to smps then its my frnd responsibility as he suggested me the this smps. Wonderful, ruining a friendship over a SMPS. You should have politely turned him down. But what is done is done now. Post the power table for your SMPS and please remove the graphic card from your RIG before it gets fried by accident.

Just get the SMPS replaced.
