DishuBOSS
I remember going to the Mehdipur Balaji with my family. One of dad's buddy was a devoted follower of one guruji and so he asked my dad to go with him (our family was in a crisis then). So dad took us there and that Guruji told us that one member of the family has to take all trouble for the rest. I did not understand what he meant by this so when the ritual took place, all of us were handed a plate with some pooris and a batasha on the top of it. Then we were asked to say the name of the person to whom we would like to transfer all our troubles in our heart. Instead of saying my mother's name, I (being a smartpants) said Guruji's name. Guruji didnt appear in the darbar for the next 3 days. It was said he was having some troubles.

Solitaire
So, here are few things about my house in Panipat, Haryana. I myself haven't experienced any of these things but have been told various times. 1. We have a servant quarter which is actually a pretty solid room with a sort of balcony in front of it, right next to the first floor terrace so it is pretty quiet over there. There is only one entrance. The door. The balcony is in front of the room and it overlooks the driveway and the main gate. 5 different servants from 5 different backgrounds and locations have told a very similar story. Each time the story goes, when they are sleeping, they feel like some one is choking them. Someone is using two hands to choke them. This does not happen everyday. This may not happen for months. This may not happen to everyone. But 5 different people who do not know each other have narrated this. . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsyzRUKwgng Perhaps there is some gas in the area that makes you feel like you're choking when you've inhaled enough? Nemo
True. Has anyone heard of the Grinning Man/Indrid Cold? Unfortunately wikipedia seems to have removed the entry for some reason. But here's another link... http://mysteriousuniverse.org/2011/05/the-grinning-man-alien-apparition-or-mib/ Epic, epic website !! this legend itself looks a little tame (as in no bloodshed or torture ) but i will be sure to check other entries. thanks for posting it. Sa1nT_SoLd1eR
Well, I was like any other teenager and didn't believe any of this supernatural, paranormal things, but subsequent years of my life I witnessed so many things, that I am neither a believer nor a non-believer. i take every thing on case to case basis, and always try to find a reason behind the occurence, but some things just don't have an answer, I suppose. Anyways here is just 1 real life story from the 10's & 20's I have faced throughout my short life. This was during my first year of college, i was 19, we had shifted to our newly built society flats, the flats consisted of ground level parking and 3 story flats above it, with common stairs between the 3 stories of adjacent facing flats, so in all every staircase has 3 flats on each side, each staircase caters to 3 flats on each side, making the total number of flats in 1 block coming to 6. Out of these 5 were occupied [4 by their original owners (including us top floor), 1 was rented out, and 1 was empty (the one in front of us/facing us)]. the first floor residents on the adjacent side had a very bad year in 2004, the eldest person in their family, the grandmother died of a heart attack, her son (in his 50's) = had a hernia operation + met an accident with a dislocated pelvis and hence was bed ridden for months + the boy (who was about my age) met with an accident and broke his arm ( so you can imagine how the year would have been). One fine day my mother was looking at the common garden and saw the above guy (my father's age) planting an unusual plant in front of the side falling on the other 3 flats (our side), this seemed odd as it was a small green belt type of place, and usually all plants were sown in a collective manner by the society, anyhow time passed by, and bad things started happening to every family in that block, neighbours right below our flat (2nd floor) met with a very big accident, where they had to be pulled out from their cars using crowbars, the car was totalled and the whole family was inside the car when this happened, the rented guys was a newly married couple(first floor on our side), the woman had a miscarriage in the 4th month, this is unusal (if you ask any medical practitioner) and the husband had an accident which he survived barely, Coming to my home, my mother's feet used to swell up into these big elephant type feet and after a few days return back, we saw many doctors but no one could put his finger on the problem, even went to PGI but to no avail, they gave dates for tests but no medication was given at this point, the neighbour above the family ( who had a bad year ) complained of hearing loud noises in the middle of the night as if someone was beating down on the floor above, but that flat was empty and locked down by the owners, no-one had access to their flat, the person was living in USA, we had to arange for the keys to have a look inside, but nothing came to the fore, all this transpired in approx 30 -45 days time. The blood tests of my mother were all normal, her thyroid tests were also normal and PGI doctors were dumbfounded, as elephantitis is usually a thyroid related problem. One day one of my mother's old office friends visited our house to meet her as she was frequently not making to office, now my mother is a very punctual women, and during her 30 years of working she has barely taken a leave, and so she came to meet her thinking there must be something wrong with my mother's health, so when she reached our home, she was looking concerned, when my mother asked her why she is looking so tense, she asked my mother about the plant, she further elaborated and told that this plant is used by tantriks to ward off evil spirits, bad luck etc. and that even walking past this plant is considered bad according to the Vedas, and the worst part was that this plant cannot be uprooted and anyone who uproots it would not survive the next day. Being a non-believer i laughed at this when i heard it from my mom while we were sitting on the dinner table, I was acting all brave and said I will pull it out myself, and she started scolding me, i didn't take all of this seriously as I was too busy with college, girls & all other stuff that teenage boys do and forgot about all this, a few days later someone moved into his flat in the society and organised a get together ("chath" as we call in punjabi), so after the function was over, all the aunties from my side of the block and many more were discussuing and chatting ( usually what they chat up) and the recent misfortunes came into the discussion, while everyone was about to leave, my mother told what her friend had told about the plant to the other aunties of our block, a few days later after this event I heard that the gardener died of a heart attack. Now here comes the unexplained part, the family living beneath us (our side) had told the gardener to remove that plant the day before his death, and he had thus obliged, when i learnt about this I looked at the site where that plant was and saw that it was lying uprooted on the other side of the wall, my mother's feet which used to get like 3 - 4 times the size of her normal feet never happened again, without any medication, also the 2nd floor occupants of the adjacent flat never complained of hearing those banging sounds again. Which makes it all strange is that the day the gardener had put out that plant, the family that were having the bad year, and had planted that plant locked the house & went out of station the same night, they returned a whole week later. Image to understand the whole thing a little better !! Edited March 27, 2013 by Sa1nT_SoLd1eR

Very well told. Now at first Black magic can sound very unreasonable and implausible. But I think if anything that is true in supernatural is black magic.Basically what it is to concentrate all the negative energy on the person you want to hurt.I dont think it even needs a pierced doll, lemons, plants and all that bullshit. It just needs tremendous amount of mental energy. Big Boss
Well unfortunately I cant reveal anything. But do know that mostly people do black magic because of jealousy. That is the number 1 and even the only reason of that. Also, those who can perform black magic, they need to perform it continuously, else their own life goes to hell.

rockstarnet
Black Magic Exists in India: A True Story This is the story of my family who is understood as well qualified family who is not superstitious. But it happened which made my father sick and took life of my brother. This is talk of period between 1992-1995. We bought a plot to build a new house. When construction work started, a man named “Munsi Ram” came to my mother and asked her “You have not done the right thing to me. I wanted to buy this plot for my elder son.” My mother replied humbly “is it ? OK pay us the value of plot and buy it.” Then Munsi Ram replied “No it is too late.” This was the birth of enmity between us about which we were not aware of. We shifted to our new home. After some days, we used to observe some wild flower and blood at the exit of our home. Since we were not believer of magical powers, we ignored such kind of things. In the year 1993, it was time around 1 a.m. in the night, day Monday, I heard that some stones had fallen my home. There were around 4-5 stones which fell together. Since it fell together, it took no time to me to guess the direction from where those stones had been thrown. It was another neighbour named Dinesh, friend of Munsi Ram who did it. We asked him about it next day which he did accepted. Ultimately, we had to call the police. After going under investigation, Dinesh accepted that he thrown those stones. Policy took him into custody. But as usual in India, many things are resolved by compromise, it happened with us too. Dinesh was out of police custody as his relatives and friend pleaded before us to take the case back. My father was the first and only person, who touched those stones. On Sunday night of same week near about 3 a.m., a severe pain started in my father’s stomach. The pain became so intense that we took him to a doctor’s clinic. This doctor gave some pain killers and couple of glucose dips. Since doctor’s clinic had no advance facility of diagnostics, he just guessed that this pain could be because of ulcer in stomach. Ultimately my father came back to home and sustained himself on the basis of pain killers. But history repeated itself, on the same day of next week around 12:30 am in the nite. This time father asked us to take him to hospital as he was not able to bear pain any longer. We took him to Escort Hospital and Research Centre, Faridabad. They kept my father for two days there and did some tests like ultrasound, x-rays, blood test, urine test etc. In the final report, they declared that gall bladder is not functioning. Why it was not functioning, they were not clear. So they asked my father to go for operation so that they could take the gall bladder out of the body. Since my father no such kind of illness, even related to digestion, my father insisted on taking second opinion from other hospital. He got discharged from hospital. He did not go for second opinion for few days but his hunger was almost killed. He was becoming weak day by days as could not eat as per his body requirements. Whenever he tried to eat even little more, he go everything out by vomiting. One day, a friend of my mother came to us. She said the ill health may be because of occult. She offered to take my mom to some priest. My mother went with her. The priest told my mother “somebody has spelled some occult over your husband. It can kill your husband within 40 days if it is not treated.” My mother go scared and asked the solution for it. The priest gave some scented sticks and asked my mother “Light one scented stick very night at your exit door.” My mother started doing as priest told her. But there was no improvement in the health of my father except pain (may be some painkiller was doing the magic). One day, an acquainted person came to my mother. My mother told him the whole story. He said “Why you are wondering here and there. If there is some thing like occult, my cousin brother, named Ashok, can treat it”. He called his cousin brother at our home. He saw my father from a distance and then he told my mother “This is an occult called kaliya massan. It kills a person within the period of 40 days from its effective date. We need to treat it as soon as possible.” He prepared some list of items and asked to buy and get things before his next visit. My father was not aware of all these things but when he came to know, he scolded my mother for these senseless actions and beliefs in the age of science. But my mother did not listen anything. Me and My elder brother, Pankaj, brought all those stuffs as demanded by Ashok. The things included some liquor and a live male chicken. Ashok demanded a lone room in which my father was required along with him. He said “if you want to see my doings, you can see but pin drop silence must be there. Also one should get scared too.” Me and My Brother Pankaj joined him. We saw that he kept spelling some magical words for around 40 minutes over my father. At last, he killed male chicken on the head of my father. He said “now your father is alright. But since these occult powers has hurted his body, you should give milk to him daily.” Within a week, my father regained the health and was able to eat all things as usual. After being warned by doctors that if he would not go for operation of gal bladder, gal bladder could blast in stomach, what happened then? What medical reports has to say? But it happened. The worst thing was that we knew who did all these occult, we could not any harm to him. Because law does not believe in it. We saved our father, but we were not able to save my brother who died in 40 days of getting bad dream very much like which my father had, when he fell ill. The strange thing was that almost every body in family dreamt about my brother’s accident, but nobody could have tell to each other and even tried to stop it. It was black magic after which we left our home and sold it after few years. But it happens. Black Magic still exists in the world. The villagers of Munsi Ram’s village are really scared of him. Everybody knows about him but nobody can prove it. In this age of science, we even don’t believe in this. I tried to write this story in minimum words. I have very scary happenings in my memory which indicated that my brother was killed by Munsi Ram. I would tell you people the secret behind my brother’s demise in our next meet. It’s true that if your will power is very strong, this occult can’t affect you much. Last line is very important. If you are mentally strong-no one can do anything to you. Bird Bird Bird
Seriously guys ? Thread was fun to start with, but this black magic nonsense is pretty lame. Have run over apparently *tantrik* nimboos, pots and what not a number of times. If you don't believe in it, nothing will happen. Else every small misfortune will get associated with it.
Bhpian Bali
I also have a scary incident to share. my heart is literally rushing while even thinking about this story. I have been in pune for the last 10 years so this city along with its stories are still new for me. I guess this was last year. I had an appointment with a client who stays in a very old locality of Pune and has a bungalow over there which is a rare thing nowadays as everyone is getting their places converted into and apartment or something so a lot of such weird stories die along with it. There is a popular cemetery nearby my client's place which is frequented by a lot of youngsters during the day. a lot of daredevils go at night for the kicks. A lot of my friends were interested in going there but I always stopped them from going there and boy i was glad that I stopped them due to this incident that happened with me. I reached my client's place and as he is a chatty fellow he started talking about stuff in general and i casually asked him how does it feel staying so close to a cemetery and I never expected the reaction, the client just stopped talking with a very scared and serious look on his face. I got scared myself that I have offended him in someway but the client just said one thing "do not go near that place, do not even cross it if you have the chance and do not ask me any further questions about it" and changed the topic to discussing business at hand. Now after getting my work done I chose to deliberately take the route that goes past the cemetery and decided to search the net for the legends and horror stories once i reach home. The moment I reached the road near the cemetery my heart started pumping with adrenaline to check the outcome of this foolishness of not heeding someone's advice. Now I used to own a SX4 till last year and I had this habit of driving with my headsets connected to the phone. Now just when I am near this cemetery and it is around 7 in the evening and I can see a part of the cemetery and those stones protruding out of the ground also the area was deserted with no street lamps of any sort, suddenly i get a call from my mother and she speaks in a very scared voice "Petrol ke rate 7.5 rs badh gaye" and i realize that I am driving a fuel guzzling petrol SX4. after that incident I never go near that cemetery Edited March 27, 2013 by Bhpian Bali
