Granted, at an untimely hour. There's nothing 'supernatural' about that.

It's odd. It's strange. It's creepy. It's weird. It's scary. It's not supernatural. You know what would have been supernatural? Had he suddenly disappeared. Had he started floating.

 

And FYI, I'm not jumping to conclusions - Wouldn't you agree the best way to be rational about a strange event is to take a stand of normalcy and then work from there? That's what I was doing. Everything is normal unless proven otherwise. 'That was a ghost' is such a far-reaching conclusion. Is it possible? Maybe. But only after cancelling out every other possibility. In this case we don't seem to have enough information to say it's anything supernatural or paranormal. It's just weird.

 

I am myself not jumping to any conclusion too. Since in this case we don't have any way to test our different hypothesis, I am just choosing the one which looks the most appropriate to me which is always going to be a subjective decision from person to person.

 

And the main assumption which I am taking is the guy who shot this video is speaking the truth about all this not being fake. If you remove this assumption then without a doubt I would say this was all staged.

 

But if you assume that what he is saying is true then I feel the way the 'kid' looks back calmly when they approach him & the time this video was shot plus him being completely naked, makes it very unlikely to be a normal or even a mentally ill kid to be there. As far as I can see that thing was a 'kid-like' thing but the video was not clear enough to see what it was. If the video was of higher quality then it would be easy to judge what was there.

 

Well anyways I am not a believer in all these things at present & that video will not change my mind & it's not even a scary video imo. Interesting, sure but not scary.

And I am not saying it was a ghost. What I am saying that the probability of it being supernatural is not any less than it being a mentally ill kid. But at the same time if he was a mentally ill kid yhen surely people from villahe would know about it. Unless he got ill for only that day.

If that is the case, then why wouldnt that kid atleast get a bit startled when some strangers catch him doing it? And why be fully naked? Makes no sense to me why he should be so calm.

 

And remember there must have been pitch darkness when they were shooting it because they were using night vision, in't it? ANY other normal person 1st of all won't be sitting there alone at that time of the night & that too naked & even if he was mad enough to do it, why would he not be startled/surprised when someone catches him? How can there be such calmness??

Well I didn't actually wanted to scare the guys over here hence i was making fun of th video myself, but there are only 4 houses in the radius of 3 km in my native place. Half the population of my village of tht time I.e we 6-7 guys were in the plantation. When u cub it with my very recent experience, it does seem tht something is amiss, but when I went to investigate alone this time, I didn't see anything.

Also, some guys are of opinion tht it's a beautifully scripted movie, well there was no YouTube back then, forget smartphone, I didn't even have a cell phone by then, I mean there was no motive to shoot and share it with friends and get the kudos. It really doesn't bother me if members think its a fake, I had just posted it to give something evidential too look at. But to really think it is a kid sitting on top of a mango plantation in middle of nowhere seems a bit far fetched idea to me. There are so many other trees in neighbourhood, he didn't have to risk his life by drowning in the small irrigation canal, or hurt himself in the fence, just to wank off on my tree

@avkash and others, I will try to find the video and capture it from television and pm it to u guys in couple of days, will also include the portion of my native place to show how isolated the place is, but u guys have to promise not to post it over FB.

Since you guys are talking about the creepy kid let me add.. This happened when I was in 11th standard.. There was this guy who was excellent in studies.. State rank material.. He was my senior. He was excellent in physics, maths, chemistry but his English was poor. He only scored on passing marks in English during pre board exams..

Then came the 12th board exam.. His first two exams went exceptional. But he didn't turn up for english exam. Worried teachers called up his place to find out that he left home long back..

His parents got worried and started looking for him. After elaborate search they found him sitting on a tree staring blankly . Sadly because of tension he lost it. He became mentally retarded.. I knew him personally.

Every teacher felt for him saying the school lost such a talent.

 

What I wanted to tell is, if they wouldn't have found him most probably he would have been sitting there whole night..

You are not open to the notion that it could be something other than a human being.

 

You dont have to believe in paranormal entities just to admit that there could be more than one explanation for this video.

 

Remember, villages are close knit communities. Everybody knows everybody there. So if there is a kid with some mental issues, there is NO WAY the rest of the village would not know about him. And AFA a kid sitting in a tree is concerned, GS has mentioned it a lot of times that its really hard to reach his plantations. Its pretty secured.

 

I am not asking you to believe in supernatural, but you are kinda shunning the others who are willing to leave all the ideas open.
