ok so ill share my story this is very recent

i use to live on there third floor of my building until then i dint believe in ghost and all....then 10 years later my dad bought a bigger house in the same building on the first floor and we decided to shift.......when i was very young i remember there was this women who got burned alive and died on the first floor(she was trying to cook on those old fashion stoves and accidently caught fire and she was home alone and there was not water in the building at that time).

so my new room was on the inside part of the building with no windows( the only possible window would be from the corridor of the building)

so a couple of months after we shifted i started hearing sounds at around 3 - 3.30am of someone walking in heels in the common corridor right next to my room

in the beginning i thought it must be someone coming home late from a party........after a few days i asked the watchmen if anyone comes homes every night at 3-3.30 am and he said no the last person comes in the building at 11.30 and then he locks the gate and goes off to sleep. so this kinda freaked me out and when i told this my parents they dint believe me.

a few days later i could hear someone knock on my rooms door first i thought its my sisters and they are trying to play a prank on me and ignored... then after a few days i heard the knocking sound once more and this time i decided to open the door and see who it is.. when i opened the door and there was no one there so i went to my sisters room to check bt they were fast a sleep..again next day i told my parents they dint believe me... the knocking sound kept on happening for a few days and finally it kind of sunk in. Then last ramzan my mother got up to eat something at 3.30 - 4am as she was walking from her bedroom to the kitchen she could here a baby cry and she freaked out and went back to sleep and next she kept some religious ceremony in the house and after that nothing strange happened again until last November when i was studying late night for my exams siting on the dinning table from where i could see my room...while studying i noticed my rooms door which was shut suddenly opened at first i thought im too sleepy and hallucinating and went back to studying and suddenly my rooms door opened again and thats when i freaked out and went and slept in my sisters room.. after that nothing has happened

Yup that's it. Anyone tried? What if you get into a really scary dream doing that?

 

Yep. Only managed it once. I managed to be aware that I was in a dream. But couldn't manipulate. It's not scary.. it's just like.. "woah".. I still vaguely remember the dream - I was in my house and doors were moving like crazy.

 

I really like the topic of dreams. It's one of the few things body-related that science hasn't been able to fully explain.

 

Btw has anyone been able to dream inside a dream? Inception-style? I did it twice

 

@Shantz - Just a nitpick, but you're getting confused with Hypothesis and Scientific Theory.

Ok. This is something not scary but absolutely weird.

 

This was when i was in college second year or third year. Doing what is best done during college days. Gaming. Sometime in the noon around 2:00 pm or so. I hear the calling bell. I go to the door and see there is this sardarji standing at the doorsteps. Sardarjis are very rarely seen here in mysore apart from those who are in town for work/holiday. He starts preaching about Wahe guru and i listen him to for a few mins and then he says that they are opening a gurudwara in mysore and looking for donations. I am like I can't really afford to give money cos I am student and I have my own expenses and stuff. He says give whatever you can and its for a good cause. So I go ahead and give him 100 bucks which was the highest i could afford at that time.

 

He then says that I was a nice guy and he would like to payback in kind. He then asked me a few questions about me like by Date of birth, Name, place I was born. He then said ,"Son, i will write a name of a girl on this piece of paper". Be aware of this name, this name will cause you and family a lot of problems. I did not know any girl with that name then. A few months later the girl did come into my life, i had forgotten all about this episode. But Boy, that girl sure did cause a lot of havoc and emotional issues for me and my family. Creepy stuff !!

We had a similar experience with one guy who had come asking for donations. He told my mum something about my elder brother (me and him were standing there as well) about his life. I can't share it here but it was something very very particular that generally doesn't happen to most folks but ruins those who go through it. And unfortunately, it did happen. I had a more pleasurable lucid dream.. It feels so real.. You can actually control the whole dream.

I don't really remember now. Might have been but most probably it was one of the peer baba guys.

 

BTW, one more thing that has happened to me/in front of me when I was young. (I'm a store house of weird things, ain't I :/)

So, this hypnotism thing. Well, It was summer holidays and morning time. I was standing outside our house with my mum chatting with a neighbor. Then she saw a couple of ladies pass by carrying some decoration items like things made out of sea shells. She stopped them thinking to buy some. The neighbor went inside though. The ladies started showing the stuff to my mum and then casually asked where is she from. She told her and then they said amongst themselves "ye to hamare mulak ki hai" (i.e. identifying that they are from the same general native area). They started a bit of casual chat and then told her they have a very good oil for feet so that my mum can use if she gets tired and before she could react, they applied a bit to her feet.

Hell broke lose after that. One of the ladies immediately said that she was in some problem and needs some money. My mother went inside and brought back around 1.5k and gave to her without saying anything (that was all she had at that time and later she told me that she couldn't find the iron safe's key, otherwise might have been much bigger). Other lady then said that her daughter is getting married so can she borrow some gold ornaments (my mother went inside again but again couldn't find keys). They started asking for random sh*t. Food, clothes, other items. My mum told me to hold her hand and be with her but kept giving them things. And then those ladies left after an hour or so. I was too stunned to even say anything. Once they left, my mother started shivering and then started crying. She didn't say anything till dad came back from office and then said that at first she didn't even know what was happening (kind of blacked out/wiped out from her memory and I had to tell her what happened) and later she came to know that she was giving out stuff but couldn't control herself at all.

About Bermuda Triangle. I saw a documentary filmed by Discovery, which actually showed how the electromagnetic field in that area (some specific parts in that region) is actually higher than it usually is supposed to be. This interferes with the electronic system at times. Thats the best Discovery could show/prove.

There is another theory which talks about methane gas under sea beds.. Which causes the propellers to stop because it doesn't get enough oxygen etc.. Its a documentary by history channel..
