It is chemically impossible based on our current knowledge of elements. There will mostly be a number of elements we do not know. Heck we are still getting to know new elements on earth. You talk like we know all the elememts in the universe :lol:sent using Tapatalk

Umm no , by the current model of the atom we have devised we know most elements and have guessed most others theoretically, and the model we have today is pretty accurate based on trial and error , there is rarely anything it can't explain . You can argue all you want about different kinds of matter but no other kind of matter has been found yet and the chances of something like that existing are slim .

Also , you guys can say whatever you want but the scientists aren't idiots , thousands have spent their whole live working on this .

 

You do understand that you are continuously saying that no other type of matter has been found yet. YET. Moreover the atomic model has kept changing. Whenever there has been a discovery that cannot be explained by the then current model it was tweaked. There may still be many things that we do not know. Why does the gravitational force not work at atomic levels ? Atoms and sub-atomic elements do have mass. Can the current model explain this ?

 

 

Scientists are not idiots that is why a number of them work at SETI. They believe. They challenge even the theory of relativity. That is the essence of science. The challenge to defy what is impossible today.

Seriously guys, the thread is named supernatural. Rationalizing it or bringing in science to explain it will do no good. Let's leave those things to experts in discovery channel.

 

True or not keep the stories coming, its a delight to read each one of them. thanks all for posting the first or second hand experiences.

 

We need more videos like the one GS posted :)

Also to the guys saying about the absence of light is dark and stuff like that .

 

It has been discussed at length , there is a specific term for stuff like this , qualia , its a limitation of language not a limitation of the brain . More like it is the limitation of our developed cognitive senses .

 

Also , the matter theory that currently exists is very accurate , scientists aren't idiots , no other matter has been found in the universe yet and you will be surprised by how much we know about the universe already .

 

I am not saying life doesn't exist , I am only saying that if it does it has to be in conditions pretty similar to ours.

well came across three such incidents in the last two years...sharing one of them now..

 

this happened around may last year,one day my best friend informed me that his brother in law's wife is possessed ....and they are calling a highly renowned maulvi (muslim priest if you never heard of it :P ) to get rid of that spirit...we both had our apprehensions if this is really true or not...so we decided to go and see what happens when the maulvi confronts the woman ...

 

now the woman in question was very much normal before all this ..she was working in a mnc in a good position also..but the recent happenings at her place (like making weird sounds at night,beating up her husband once (lol yea) etc etc ) made her family members quite sure something was wrong..

 

anyways it was thursday evening ,we arrived at her house..soon the maulvi arrived ...he started reading verses from Quran sharif (our holy book ) ..

after sometime he asked for the family members to bring that woman...she came normally in front of the maulvi...things were absolutely normal...but within half hour suddenly the whole room was smelling..smelling real bad ..cant really describe the smell,but yea it was really unbearable..the maulvi kept on reciting his prayers..and then we noticed that woman biting her fingers..she started literally chewing her fingers ..and her fingers were bleeding badly..We all were shocked,but since the maulvi had instructed not to do any sort of interruption in between,we all kept staring at all this,in simple words hum sab ki phat gayi thi :panic: And then she fainted..

 

After all this the priest told us that it was not possible for him to get rid of this thing..and they have to take her to someone more powerful ex Ajmer Sharif etc to make her normal...so the next day the family left for Ajmer..and thankfully after staying there for sometime...she became normal..and is fine now

So this thread urged me to visit r/nosleep, which routed me here. Went ahead, bought and finished in one sitting. Very good read, especially the later chapters. Becomes more and more creepy as you ease into it !

Fukat wala story batao, i dont want to pay monies for getting scared :fear:

Something similar was narrated by my friend many years ago. I still doubt its veracity but it gave me goosebumps when i heard the story.

Apparently my friends sister was possessed by some kind of spirit, they used to stay at a big house in gujrat, and his sister used to stay normal at some point and then all of a sudden she would start acting weird in the house, i.e. walking around naked, hurling abuses at people etc. My friend was very young at that point of time, and so out of his naivety, one night he went up to his sister and asked her, why she talking to herself all the time in her room. Her sister replied to him, "There are so many people in the room with us" . He froze for a moment and then walked away, then after a few days, when some kind of holy guy came in to exorcise the spirit, she started beating that guy, and then they suggested to take her to some kind of religious place, after which she became 'normal'

I'm pretty sure we mistake soooooooooo many psychological problems as bhooth pishaach ka kaam. Pretty recently one of my cousin sisters suddenly started acting strange, making weird noises for hours altogether. Sometimes what she was comprehensible, sometimes the other way round. Fearing the worst, jijaji went to a good psychiatrist, were she was diagnosed with a mix of severe depression with delusion (of persecution) and put on meds after extensive counselling. Even after telling him repeatedly that all the psy meds take nearly 3-4 weeks to show any action, they wanted immediate results and went to some baba and the usual was done.

Needless to say, the baba kept calling them for 10-15 days. By the time the baba was done, it had already been some 20 odd days and she was feeling better, which I am pretty sure was due to the drugs, par Jai Baba Ki !

People tend to think that psy disorders only strike if you're poor or have some issues in your family. That is so not true. Genetic susceptibility + chemical locha around your neurons is enough to drive the most sane perso crazy ! You don't even need precipitating factors.
