The problem with these haunted places and creepy sh*t happening is that...Just today i came across a bbc article which talked about effects on brain of a lonely person and prisoners and all.

 

The thing is these haunted places are usually quite isolated ...and human is a social animal. Our brain can play lot of tricks on us . the article covered lot of shits from experiments and brainwash things done by chinese on prisoners by ioslating them and their accounts.

 

Many reported lot of creepy things....to give you an example one lady a kurdish girl captured by Iran as spy was thrown in total isolation in Iran prison . She use to hear someone screaming ...it turn out to be she was the one who was screaming and it was her own scream that she use to hear and be scared of....think about it . The effects of lonliness and all can have on human brain. One of the major problems of Space missions as well.

True, but you are only backing up the half truth.

Yes, MPD..loneliness...attention-seekers...are problems humans face but that doesnt mean we ignore ghost stuff. Apart from true instances of movies like exorcism of emily rose, Discovery 1st started its series A Haunting. They used EMPs, Infra, Thermal, NightV to capture all those occurrences to scientifically prove their existances. Then the role of priests who later described the types of ghost they(victims) generally see.

 

(My Logic) Like in the case of krypton:

a) As he describes that that person was suffering MPD, suites the logic. Nothing wrong in it and to back it up, Kryton talked to the man + gave money. Human spirits cant take phantasmal human form for that long and evil spirits/ demons dont look humans (when given a second look). So yes, the only 2 humans he saw were same.

b ) Kryton said, he saw someone enter the house. He could have been a real human and another (not seen by krypton) human was banging the door and ran when krypton reached alley door to open. That manager must have opened all the doors midnight. This scenario must have been cooked up to scare away people to Up the popularity. And the 3rd last man krypton talked told a lie of 7-8yrs. To further back it up, krypton noticed Lights On when he 1st saw the room, means some1 must be paying the bills OR stealing electricity. So if the place is closed from 7-8yrs AND locals knew about it then why Nagar nigam didnt cut the power supply nearby or some info about place or something.

To be honest I don’t believe in ghosts or the supernatural. But that does not mean I’m not afraid because meri be ghand fat jaata hai. I just think everything unknown can be eventually explained. That said the following is something I cannot wrap my head around.

 

My grandfather owned a flat in Mumbai since 1955. It’s where I spent my childhood and most of earliest memories are located in or around that flat. When my folks and I moved to Goa in 1991 they contemplated selling it off but decided to keep it in case one of the kids wanted to return to Mumbai later. That’s just what happened. In 1998, I moved back and took up residence in the old flat. Now keep in mind this flat was locked for almost 7 years with the odd cleanup happening maybe once every year. The furniture was as I remembered it and I spent the first few days going through my grandfather’s comic strip collection. Oh joy. I got engrossed with work and studies and only spent a few hours sleeping in the house. But those short hours were enough for me to notice some creepy stuff happening. It wasn’t outright scary but just something that nags you at the back of your mind. A lot of times when I used to return home from work or classes I would find things in the house had changed their place in some way. For example my He-man figurine would be on the facing to the right side, instead of forward, or a cup had toppled over or various other things. I ignored it because I was always in a hurry in those days. I dismissed it as something I probably did unconsciously. Either way I pushed this to the back of my mind and carried on for 3 more years. My sister then joined me and right away pointed out that something was not right. She said sometimes her keys would fall off the hook or there would be faint breathing sounds. Again, I was scared but I dismissed it as nothing more than an overactive imagination (I was sh*ting bricks inside though J ).

 

A lot of my friends would come over to watch movies except for one guy who kept making some excuse or the other. I finally cornered the guy one day and asked him why he didn’t want to hang out. His answer creeped me out. I can still remember getting goosebumps (I’m getting them right now). He said,”Bhai tumhare ghar me kuch gadbad hai. Accha nahin lagta hai ghar pe”. I asked him what he meant. He told me that he got a very uneasy feeling when he came to my house the first time. He said it was like he should not be there and he refused to talk anymore about it. We continued living there and the weirdness continued.

 

In 2006 I invited my girlfriend to live with me. My sister moved back to Goa in 2007. Please keep in mind that my girlfriend is a bigger darrpokh than me. After a few months she finally asked me if there was something scary about the house. I lied and said no and asked her why. This was so that I could confirm if what my sister and I had experienced was real. She said she felt like there was always someone in the house with us. I laughed it off (what f**king else could I do right?).

 

We got married in 2009. Our daughter was born in 2011. In 2012 it became downright creepy. Our daughter had just began to walk and could recognize objects and people. I was awake mostly till about 4 or 5 am playing games and more often than not I would hear her laughing. When I would rush to the bedroom she would be standing in her bed and pointing at the wall facing her bed. There was nothing on that wall at all. It was a blank wall. Light coming in from the window never reached that wall ever. I was worried and asked my wife about this. She told me that our daughter would sometimes walk into the bedroom all by herself even when the lights were off and stand near the wall either mumbling or just looking at it or laughing. It’s not something I was familiar with but being new parents we kind of wondered if this was just what kids do. After all its only when we grow a little older do we get afraid of the dark and all. What was nagging me was why that wall. I couldn’t for the life of me figure it out. We kept it to ourselves because if I wasn’t in that situation even I would not believe it.

 

So lets see. The only person who knew about the creepy stuff is my sister, my wife, my old friend who had moved to Dubai (I lost contact with him) and myself. Now here’s the really creepy part. One of my office friends had come over with his girlfriend. They stayed for dinner and left. A few days later he called me up and asked if he could come over. I agreed. What he told me left me speechless. He said his girlfriend told him that my house was home to an elderly couple who lived in the bedroom. She said that they are tied to the place in some way. They have lived there for a very long time. She said they are bound to one of the walls in the bedroom and that they play with my daughter and like her very much. She said they don’t mean any harm but not to approach them.

 

We continued living there till 2013 when we sold the flat and moved to Goa. Things have been fine so far. My daughter no longer points at any walls or talks to them. What happened in Mumbai still disturbs me because I don’t know if its something imagined or something real. Either way I still think there is an explanation. What bugs me is how a person I have never met could know about the f**king wall so accurately.

 

Feel free to interpret it all however you want.

sh*t my pants is what I almost did many times. Another thing that happened, though only once. It was about 2 or 3 am and I was playing BF3. As usual I was using headphones. Over the thudding of the tanks I could hear a tapping on the dining table. I removed my headphones and the tapping stopped. I put the headphones on and continues. A few seconds later the tapping started again. This time I muted the game. Silence. A few minutes later I clearly heard the tapping. I freaking nearly peed my pants, every hair on my neck stood up. My hands actually went ice cold and I froze. I waited a few minutes, shut off the ps3 and tv and went to the bedroom pulled my sheet over the head and went to sleep. I wanted to pee as well but f**k me if I was going to go to the loo after what happened.

I know dude. I just don't believe in ghosts. Yeah I get sh*t scared but I don't believe in this stuff. I have my own theories. Maybe mass hallucination? I don't know. The power of the human mind is an impressive thing you know. Either way you look at it it's interesting to say the least.

I remember dating a girl who had a weird ESP. I met her while i was at a friend's place (she was her childhood friend). I was seeing someone else at that point in time; and it just came up in conversations. She just asked me to show her the other woman's pic. She took one look and just said "not the right one for you"! I was taken aback because i could not understand/believe what a total stranger was telling me. She told me a few things about the person; and also said that i would not believe whatever she is saying.

 

Anyways, I decided to ask her to tell me about a few friends of mine (which i was damn sure none of the other friends knew of)....I just opened a few facebook profiles and asked her to take a look at the pics. As she went on telling one by one, my head went into a spin because of the high accuracy she displayed! And at the end of it all, she just gave me a smile and said she knew i was "testing" her skills!

 

We eventually grew closer and dated for a while.....There were some aspects of her that always made me feel weird! Everytime we stepped into a place full of people; almost every one would turn around and notice her....i could never really fathom why ? (and i mentioned it to her multiple times; only to be replied back with a smile).

 

I remember once we were just sitting and chatting along as usual; and she just asked me "how's your dad doing ?". I replied saying he is fine. She just asked me to be a little cautious since he was going to be ill for sometime. Two days later; while at her place; I got a call from my mum saying that my dad had been diagnosed with clogged arteries and needed treatment. I had to fly home immediately the next day.

 

She once gave me a small memorabilia and asked me to keep it. She said it will ensure that i don't land up in trouble or with wrong people. And funnily enough, the one month i had it in my house, I endured one of the driest spell in my life ! Eventually on one of her visits; i had to request her to take it back; and life returned to normalcy the very night

 

She has been one of the most affectionate person in my life though; hopefully she is doing as good for herself as she possibly can...But I was recounting the experience to a friend at work; and i realised how spooked up she got on hearing the whole thing :|

Man that's some crazy stuff right there. ESP is such an interesting subject and so creepy at the same time. There's been such a huge amount of research which eventually for one reason or another ends up inconclusive. Call it mismanagement of the experiments or downright false data there should be more research.

 

BTW has anyone heard of the Crow Man myth of Mumbai? Personally I think it's just that. A myth. But it happened in the 70's in Mumbai.

I met a DRDO officer once...he was able to tell a lot about someone by just looking at his handwriting.

 

He was able to tell quite a few characteristic traits of my friend seeing his handwriting and trust it was quite accurate.
