avkash
Dumbar you do understand that there were other people in the cab. All of them hallucinating the SAME thing. Yeah. So true. Anyways, the point is not to prove the authenticity. If you trust it, its cool, if you don't, no worries. On Bhangarh, heard loads about it. I am from Jaipur as well. My brother went there with his friends and told us that there is something creepy about the place for sure. One cannot avoid an eerie feeling, the one that you are being watched. Scary. If you happen to know people who work late night and or live in villages you will hear tons of stories as well. Just need to filter out the obvious fake ones from the ones that seem probable. Edit: writing on the iPad is not tough at all. It is just a little different. Never knew it was so easy. Ph3N0M
Infrasound. It's noise at a low enough frequency that you don't consciously hear it, but your ears still sense it. The process of receiving sensory input without your conscious mind understanding where it's coming from wreaks havoc with your emotions. Specifically, researchers found that sounds between 7 and 19 Hz it could induce fear, dread or panic. It doesn't take a mad scientist mind control device to create infrasound -- mother nature is creating this type of low frequency vibration all the time. Volcanos, earthquakes, strong ocean waves and even winds hitting the hillside in just the right spot can create infrasound. Even animals can create it and tigers are particularly well known as a source. The frequency of a tiger's roar is around 18Hz -- right in that range mentioned earlier. So now we have a phenomenon that occurs in nature, is invisible, is imperceptible on a conscious level, but can spontaneously make you feel irrational fear, even if you're sitting in an empty room. Sorry if it's a n00b question. But if the frequency of a tiger's roar is in that range, such that "you don't consciously hear it, but your ears still sense it", how is it clearly audible when they roar? rockstarnet
I was wondering the same.
Nemo
do you guys speak at the same volume and frequency when delivering a dialogue ? perhaps roar was not the correct term to use, growl is more apt. Humans can only hear frequencies from 20 hertz (cycles per second) to 20,000 hertz, but tigers, whales, elephants and rhinos can all produce sounds below 20 hertz. The tiger mixes infra sound growls at 18 hertz and below with the roar that we can hear, and the result, according to Dr Elizabeth von Muggenthaler, president of the institute, is that humans can feel the tiger roar - a sensation that causes momentary paralysis. http://rense.com/general7/freq.htm Also,
Solitaire
What do you guys know about the "Bermuda Triangle"? A place where everyone walks around in this attire? -> If you ever give lift to a chick in midnight and notice that her feets are reverse, dont worry, you will have to do her from behind instead. I often get kinda scared after watching a scary movie or something but it passes pretty soon. Nowadays I'm scared more of the very rare cougar (no, not the two-legged kind ) or bear in the suburbs (cos I walk home from work late at night through some somewhat wooded areas) than ghosts. But this place gets very foggy all of a sudden and it's like a Stephen King novel when that happens. Science ftw but my mind goes to every horror movie I've watched and ghost story I've read. Dude, no. It's not the city of Seattle proper. Sometimes late in the night you might see a coyote but they're usually scared of people and will run away when they see you. Occasionally every half year or so someone will hit a bear or cougar on the freeway or spot one in their backyard (more often in areas like Sammamish and Kirkland than in Redmond itself). It's a well-developed area but there's a LOT of greenery and wooded areas around. This is the northwest very near Canada, a place of great natural beauty. So yeah, there are a few animals now and then. There were deer walking around (photos on FB of course) behind my apartment (more like a cottage - no one above or below me FTW) near the woods. First day I was like "Awww so cute". That night I started thinking "WTF what if whatever eats them comes knocking!" and then it got all foggy like it was some re-enactment of Victorian England and the Hound of Baskerville There's no real danger honestly but I'm paranoid and I check pages like this : http://seattletimes.com/html/localnews/2009801070_webcougar03m.html and scare myself. Solitaire
Dude are you just confirming an Alan wake game for nextbox?! Now you know what inspired Alan Wake. Beautiful area when the sun is out, kinda creepy when the fog rolls in occasionally (especially during winter).

DishuBOSS
A friend of mine was pursuing Engineering in Jaipur and so he was living in a hostel. There were 3 guys in one room and one of them was from Bihar. One time, that Bihari guy went to his village and when he came back, he was not the same. He stopped talking to everyone and stayed out of the hostel for the whole day. Only came back to sleep at nights. Even the warden was surprised with his behaviour because he was a jolly fellow and loved the hostel and all the people in it. He stopped going to the classes and was seen sitting by the highway all alone. When some of the guys asked him what was the matter, he didnt say much and used to walk away. All the guys in the hostel thought there was something in the family that was bothering him and so they left him alone. The warden too, suggested all the guys not to bug him. One day, while the Bihari guy was out of the hostel, his father and elder brother came. My friend and his other room-mate asked them why he was so glum after his visit from home ?? His father almost had a stroke while his brother started crying. He said, "How could he be here? He died in a road accident 2 months ago. He came to the village but never left. We are here to pick his stuff." My friend and the other room-mate immediately packed their stuff and left the room. The warden made sure that nobody stayed in that room and as long as my friend was there, the room was locked. Though the guy was still seen sometimes sitting by the highway, staring into the space. So @godspeed4476 is this your bagheeche in the video ?? If yes, please tell us some more stories.. I am sure there are lots.. and who were those guys in the video ?? We were 6-7 guys in total, I was testing out the new camera with its night vision when we were out in th fields. there are no more story to share, AFAIR, my sister claimed she was pushed by one of the tress when she was playing 'chilhor' game, basically you have to climb on trees and the guy who has his turn has to touch the players and get to the stick. Our house in the native place is in a very remote area, a big temple was built by my grandfather near the well. A women had committed suicide in that well with her baby long time back, and temple was built after that. Personally speaking, I am not that much of a believer in supernatural for simple reason that I don't believe in god as well, but I've heard a lot of stuff and almost every 1 has a story tell. However, recently about 2-3 weeks back, I was on isotretinoin medication for 3 months and it is known to cause some hallucinations, I had some kind of scary dream about the mango plantation, and in a semi sleep state I got up from my bed and reached halfway to the plantation. It was only due to my overly attached German Shepherd Dog, I became fully aware where I was and calmly walked towards my bed again, but it was due to medication I can confirm that 100%. OT: folks don't take isotretinoin medication even though the acne is very bad, it clears up the skin but has long term side effects, I still get small hallucinations when I am asleep and the hair fall is just disheartening. DishuBOSS
But THAT was not hallucination.. we can clearly see something in the video (only if it wasnt setup by you guys) .
godspeed4476
But THAT was not hallucination.. we can clearly see something in the video (only if it wasnt setup by you guys) .Makes no sense to find a child/boy/girl and ask them to remove their clothes and then make them climb the trees, I don't remember it right, but I was not able to speak for a few mins after the incident. Well now it doesn't bother me much, me and my friends still play cards in the plantation during winters. And the hallucination thing happened 2-3 weeks back when I was in my native place for kumbh mela, but it was due to my medication. i dont know what exactly constitutes a hallucation, as some 1 mentioned in this thread about thinking superficial things for real, in a deep sleep state I sometime think that I am in a different place (where I was 1-4 months back) and I start kind of seeing the people who travelled with me besides me (i still do)I never got scared about it, and when I contacted my dermatologist he said its a common side effect of isotretinoin, that's y I said folks shouldn't take that drug, it has so many side effects, and the doctors here prescribe them without thinking 2wice.
