Awesome thread. Got a fair share of serious incidents of friends / relatives but it would be laughed upon so I refrain from posting these things on the webz. The term " supernatural " doesn't have to always be related to spirits / medium as it's decieved to be btw. There are a bunch of other phenomena that can't be explained by science and falls in this category as well. Oh them posts , gonna read'em all first.

We had a bitch named Laika once.

I remember the day she died, she was pretty sick and was even unable to move.

But in the morning of her last day (she died the same night), she jumped out of her bed and started playing like a healthy and active animal.

 

We were bummed out, wondering what got into her.

She remained like this the whole day and then came the night.

 

I remember she was scared shitless and was not coming out of the shoe closet.

She was barking wildly at something in the air with her tails between her legs and when my sister tried to pull her out of the closet, she started crying.

She almost bit my sister and ran into the closet. Kept barking and crying.

 

She used to come back to check as if there is something or someone outside the closet, barked at the air and ran back.

Her cry was with us the whole night. I fell asleep and woke up hearing my sister weeping.

 

Laika was lying dead inside the closet and my sister was pulling her deadbody outside.

So, here are few things about my house in Panipat, Haryana. I myself haven't experienced any of these things but have been told various times.

 

1. We have a servant quarter which is actually a pretty solid room with a sort of balcony in front of it, right next to the first floor terrace so it is pretty quiet over there. There is only one entrance. The door. The balcony is in front of the room and it overlooks the driveway and the main gate. 5 different servants from 5 different backgrounds and locations have told a very similar story. Each time the story goes, when they are sleeping, they feel like some one is choking them. Someone is using two hands to choke them. This does not happen everyday. This may not happen for months. This may not happen to everyone. But 5 different people who do not know each other have narrated this.

 

My mum got serious about it when a driver and a servant from my Nana's place spent the night and were scared shitless when this happened to them. They spent the night in the car and told us this story in the morning. She got serious because these two had been in the family since more than a decade and since they were just visitors they would not have any reason to bullshit.

 

My mom being my mom put all the photos, murtis etc. of idols she could find in the room. I guess it did not help. I don't know what to make of it. I'm as big a skeptic as anyone about 'unexplained phenomena' but I don't know what to make of it.

 

 

 

2. Reading Shantz' and one more guy's post here and I guess black magic is a thing and pretty big in India. My Grand parents tell me about this earthen pot filled with rice and turmeric and blood etc. which was found hung on our main gate and was in some way disposed off, can't remember right now how. We had a pretty big car accident soon after that. Changed our lives. Can be a co-incidence. Again, I don't know what to make of it.

 

3. We have sort of a society gate very near my place which subtly demarcates our lane from the outside. A lot of people have told me (I don't stay in Panipat for now, haven't since I was 9) that every Saturday someone keeps a small earthen pot of some mumbo jumbo crap right outside the gate and the intent is for cars to go over it without it being noticed. One night while driving back late I did cross over such a pot. I did not notice it. It was dark. I only got to know I'd crossed it after the guard pointed it out. A few days later that car had a major major accident, with my brother in it. Thankfully he was okay. Again. Can be a co-incidence, and I mostly take it so. But I don't know what to make of it.

 

4. We've had 3-4 dogs who did not survive at my place. For no reason. Wasn't age. Wasn't health. The last we had was over a decade ago. Gypsy. I only remember her. Was too young for others. She did not survive. Not for any particular reason. Just caught some major disease and we couldn't save her.

 

I'm about to move back there and I'd most definitely keep a couple of pets. I'd be really, really pissed if something happens to them just out of some motherf**ker's spite.

One of the ICU's at Fortis Hospital in Mulund is also supposed to be giving jeepers to people who are getting admitted there 1 of my very very distant relative and one of my fathers friend was admitted in that ICU, and both of them felt as if some was choking them at the night while sitting on their chest. They had to be moved out of that room, and the staff says its a common complaint for people who get admitted there
