ALPHA17
How much coverage do you want w.r.t. location of router (distance of peripheral)? Will there be many walls between router and the devices? For gaming I suggest you stick to a wired connection.

Dbz_479
I've an old ADSL router(BSNL one). There were many issues with it(Frequent disconnections,Lag etc).Recently i bought this router and it's pretty good.I'm getting 3-4 bars now.Only thing is it's only a router,i mistook it to have both modem and router like my ADSL one. http://www.flipkart.com/netgear-wgr614-wireless-n-150-router/p/itmdffys9gjghbzz?pid=RTRDFFYGDHZKZH4Y&ref=78257dfc-46e4-45a2-aee3-4b1af1b53213&srno=t_1&otracker=from-search&query=netgear

Crimped ones come pretty cheap, get it from where you get the router. 3.And how good is the support cd to configure the router, coz my isp techinicians knows shi*! Umm... best you take that up with someone who has this router. They will have that know how. Hope this helps, Cheers!

Dbz_479
I'll explain it briefly. Router came along with 2 stands,an yellow wire which looks like a LAN cable but it has a different purpose and an installation CD.There were 4 LAN ports.Stands are useful to place the router vertically which the manual instructs as the best pose for it to look beautiful( ......better signal that way it seems). The yellow cable is to connect your modem with the router, modem is a must.Installation was easy. They didn't miss even the tiniest of steps.Only thing was they ask you if you are already using a router or not.I thought my ADSL modem/router comes under router class too,but it isn't.So i had to go back to the beginning of installation and restart it with no router installed option. Now my COD BO2 connectivity improved,i'm joining matches quicker.Mine is a 2Mbps plan.
