Babyzelda
My first PC was in 1996, it was a white IBM Aptiva, the cool thing is it came with this wonderful album with a lot of softwares and games in it. I think of of the games was Pitfall, not sure but Civilization was there and an encyclopedia. 2 years down Dad got me a new model, that was amazing, it was perhaps the start of All in On PC's a black Aptiva where the Monitor sat on a wonderful stand right above the CD Drive, and came with a Subwoofer and a Joy Stick. Ok googled it' this is what it was, this was pretty much my last PC, after which I moved to the iMac in 99 I think, and never ever have gone back to a PC. DishuBOSS
Here's a timeline : Age 12 - 1993 : First experience of what fear meant, get back from Boarding school to go home, Waiting at the Railway Station in Mumbai for mom / dad to pick me up with 2-3 other school mates, everyone starts running around, had no idea what just happened, absolutely terrified, can remember every minute even today when I close my eyes, anyways had a wonderful guy helped the 3 of us a lot, took us to the police station where there was a Mr. Sampat, kept us so well. On a small little TV they had we could see what was going on outside, the Bombs had exploded. My dad was in a Meeting at the BSE, to pick me up he had left about 20 minutes before it all happened. f**k that crap here's the good stuff, Age 13 : First GF, Damn and when she once saw me speak to another girl in school she thought I was cheating on her, she broke up, her last line "You Ruined My life" lol, Become the school Junior team Hockey goal keeper, Thought I was a star now at that time. God knows what I even played lol, became a class monitor, Thought I was now the prime minister, slapped a guy for not coming on time lol. Ah and finally after some time with a Grayscale GAMEBOY, I now had a GameGear, and trust me it was like the thing to own in those days, a hand held with a color screen. Age 14 : First trip to NYC, Went to this store "Nobody beats the Wiz, where I first saw a color screen computer, and my first IBM Thinkpad which dad got from there, and got my cherry broken thanks to an adult horny female, dad's friend took me to a strip club in Vegas, but sad part is I was thrown out of the Casino in Luxor. The guy knew it was a fake ID. And sometime in between I remember a walkman which we used in school where all we did was play 'Mysterious Girl' lol, I had no internet, our school computers had the Green Monitors, printing rubbish on a dot matrix printers for events made me assume I am so creative. But truly miss the time, esp. playing football in school esp. when it's Raining the field is all mucky, and owning a cool pair of Football shoe itself was such a talk of the day. Things like Nike Air etc were like the things to want, I remember the first time I saw a guy with Reebok PUMP shoes in early 90's and I needed them so badly and my damn dad got me LA GEAR. I don't even know where these things disappeared. I am sure.. one of these days.. somebody from IVG will meet you and you will turn out to be one of the Ambani Brothers Reading that feels like its the timeline of James Bond

piper
Green coloured monitors, dot matrix printers, no mouse. Windows 3.1, which I promptly hacked using some hex editor to make changes. Tried upgrading to Windows95, needed 4MB RAM. 1MB chip cost Rs. 1300 back then. Needless to say, remained on Windows 3.1. Prince, Dave, Barbarian, Keen, Doom, Wolfenstein 3D. Moved to Bangalore, got introduced to pr0n. Pr0n on floppy disks, my PC would take approx 5 minutes to open a single JPG image. Shell internet account, with only text. Parents constantly complaining about time spent on PC.

DishuBOSS
My dad was a strict disciplinary.. he used to wake me up at 5 every morning.. pushed me to the toilet.. and took me to a walk everyday. We came back around 7 and then he helped me in getting ready for the school. He would come back from the court around 5PM and used to play with me and my brother.. then we all would sat around with something to read in our hands while Mom made tea and some snacks. Read till the sun set, and then I would go out with my best pal to roam around the town. Would come back at 9PM, eat dinner, watch some TV and go back to bed at 11 sharp !! Now I sleep around 4-5AM and wake up after 11 EVERYDAY !!!! Feel like sh*t !!
